Very nice stay.  Highly recommend if staying in gyeongju.  Host is very responsive (make sure to download WhatsApp beforehand) and host is very accommodating. In our trip, host provided traditional Korean breakfast meal for our entire party delivered to our room in the morning!  It was a nice surprise to our visit and made it even more memorable.

We have stayed in Gyeongju before but this was the first at this Inn.  We LOVED this place and highly recommend it.  We stayed for two nights and it was amazing.  From the beautiful spacious room, heated floors and location.  Everything is walking distance, including some awesome restaurants and even a GS25 half a block from this location.  We got two rooms as we were a group of 4 adults.

This is a really beautiful place, right in the middle of a ton of great restaurants, coffee shops and gift stores. Walking distance to many sights. Great amenities, comfortable beds, overall solid - such a unique stay.

Hanok, traditional Korean house. Walkable to lots of tourist attractions, food options and coffee shops. One of the bed was a bit too firm for me, but having all those options available was nice. Highly recommended.

I seldom take the time to write reviews, but I wholeheartedly recommend this stay. This hanok beautifully combines the charm of traditional Korean architecture with the comforts of modern living. It offers an authentic hanok experience while seamlessly catering to contemporary needs—a perfect balance of heritage and modernity.

This hotel is amazing!I had a great experience than ever.Although it is a bit tucked away from the shopping street, this accommodation is still very quiet. There are numerous restaurants and cafes nearby. Well if you find out the way to get there once, it is so easy to walk around.It’s such a modern and cozy place.The interior design and sounds speaker are wonderful… everything was spotted on.Those beds are so comfortable!!I totally recommend to stay more than 2 nights.Thank you for the hospitality.

The villa is very beautiful and centrally located.  Since car is not allowed on the street in front of the villa, the host graciously pick us up on the corner, which is very, very close to the villa.  It is a quiet street in the middle of the bustling area.  Very pretty area with a lot of restaurants and cafes.  Highinly recommended

Beautiful and huge room. We stayed at the annex building a couple mins away from the main hotel, and it was great. Very friendly host as well, would recommend to travellers going to Gyeongju.Do take note that the room on the annex is on the 2nd floor (stairs only), so for those who need easier access, the main hotel area might be better

I've been to Europe and many other countries, but among the lodgings I've stayed in, there's no place like Soi Hanok. It felt like I was inside an art installation, and I could feel the owner's delicate and considerate heart in everything provided, so I felt like I was treated well. We had the most wonderful stay at this property. It’s super comfortable, absolutely beautiful, and the location is perfect for exploring the town. The property owner was delightful, responsive, and accommodating. She really went the extra mile to ensure we had the best stay possible. I can’t recommend this property highly enough for anyone looking for a very nice place to stay in Gyeongju.

Delightful and comfortable hanok accommodation

This is such an amazing place and I wish I could have stayed here much longer. The unit I stayed in was beautiful, with a mix of traditional Korean hanok surroundings and modern furnishings, including a comfortable bed, mini fridge, microwave, and speaker. The place was immaculate and came with nice touches of comforts, including coffee, tea, water, and ramen. The hostess was incredibly helpful, even though we had to use some online tools to help translate. The location was right in the middle of the charming old area, with restaurants and stores hidden around every corner.

Sue, the property owner, met us personally to let us in and show us our room and amenities. She was very generous with her hospitality and kindness during our stay and made herself available for any questions we had. Our room was magically charming and one of the most magnificent stays we've experienced while travelling to a distant country! The location was perfectly located to get to sites and restaurants/shopping while maintaining a private setting. It truly was a perfect stay.
