The owner is warm and welcoming, and makes sure to cook breakfast even if you're the only guest staying (it was the low season when I visited). 

Lots of recommendations on what to see/eat and most of the attractions are a bus ride or two away.

Feels like coming home, and I would recommend to anyone who wants to feel at home away from home!

My friend recommended this guesthouse to me, and though I initially planned to stay 2 days, I spent 3 extra days there. That speaks volumes in itself on how much I loved this place. The owner is warm, approachable and kind and gave me recommendations on what to see and do, which made my stay fulfilling and enjoyable. 

Price includes breakfast and everything is made from the heart :) omelettes, juice, fruits and toast are available. 

The rooms are cleaned daily, as are the public areas. The only thing is that the showers are shared and don't have separate cubicles (mens and ladies toilets are located on different floors).

On weekends there are parties and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting and mingling with the other guests. The owner also screens potential guests to make sure as far as possible that everyone is respectful and respected during their stay here. 

There are a family of kittens and cats outside, and they are adorable! They sometimes sneak into the guesthouse, especially in winter but they are well-behaved and also respect the boundaries and are happy enough to stay outside when told to and get lots of attention from the staff as well as guests. 

I enjoyed every single minute of my stay here and would highly recommend it to others! It really felt like I was staying with my parents and not strangers. 

I chose this hostel as my base to walk on Saryan-do and I am so pleased I did. The bus station is some distance from the downtown area but not much of an inconvenience. Located next to the canal with a lovely vista at night as the area lights up quite spectacularly. Hul Hul has a terrace on top which would be marvellous in the summer. 
Clean kitchen and common room below the forms were comfortable with curtains in bottom bunk. 
Mr Lee was a fantastic host and always laughing and smiling. Most people I met here had only planned to stay a couple of days but lengthened their stay because if how friendly it was.
Great for solos because it is very communal on an evening.
