I only discovered Aark House the previous night in a last minute panic for accommodation in Gangneung. The directions from the bus terminals Tourist Info (bus via Jeongdongjin train station) were extremely easy to follow, and it was easily within a 15 minute walk. Okju's warm personality and accommodation made me extremely happy in the short time I got to spend with her and her family. She is a very talented artist and the Korean breakfast absolutely hit the spot. I had a great sleep in the 2 bed room, and the whole experience at Aark House was very warm and humbling. I can't recommend enough.
