We stayed in the hanok room. Perfect location for tourist. All main sights and shopping area are in a walking distance. Nice restaurant that I would recommend - Mu-a - is just over the corner. It is a low budget place, and I would recommend to stay their if you come to Daegu just for a few days, when you need an accommodation just to have a good and comfortable sleep.
