Villa Prince Imperial

Firstly I would like to thank all the staff working at Villa Prince Imperial for their warm welcome to us. 1st week they treated us with 5 star treat if I can put it that way we ddnt complain with nothing perfect breakfast and perfect rooms that was so awesome..

We went to a wedding in Vryheid and we made a booking at Villa prince Imperial, really we never expert such a good stay, but I must say, the rooms were spotless, breakfast was very good, the staff was very friendly and very helpful, garden was well done very tidy, Quality of sleeping indeed perfect. we were very relaxed. The place its self was secured you just feel safe there. The pool outside is facing the full sun and it was so nice we really enjoyed our stay there. Good people try Villa prince Imperial when you go to Vryheid, just experience another home from home.

I spent two nights at Villa Prince Imperial for the first time and I was impressed with the room size and the style. Huge room with comfortable bed. Clean and wonderfully decorated. Not to forget the lounge, very nice.  The breakfast was delicious too. On the negative side,  for such a cold place an aircon should be installed. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

perfect stay at Villap

The staff are friendly,  rooms are well designed, neat and modern. My room was a little small,  but nice. The guesthouse is set in a quiet area close to town. Breakfast was good with no crouds or queues. 
My 2 issues were that they use borehole water in their taps (which we shower with) and had a terrible smell (similar to boiled eggs).
Their cupboard for clothes had a strong smell of mothballs. 
This will definitely not be a first choice when going back to Vryheid,  maybe a second or third option. 

Decide for yourself

We stayed at Villa Prince Imperial in July 2015 on our way to Hluhluwe-Imfolozi. We chose to overnight in Vryheid because we wanted to see what a town called Freedom looked like, and the town was interesting enough. Villa Prince Imperial provided adequate accommodation, but nothing special. Prices were fairly high, but it was the lack of interest of staff that put us off. When trying to book I had to send multiple emails to get a response, and when we were there staff was disinterested, and unavailable after 6 pm or so. Also, there wasn't even as much as a vending machine to get a drink or so. Compared to many other places we've stayed in South Africa, which often are very homely and hospitable, this was a let-down. However, for someone looking for an adequate place for the night, this might do the trick.
