525 reviewsWe had the pleasure to visit Kings Camp in the Timbavati reserve last July and it was a splendid experience. Our guide and tracker, Neil and Donald, were incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Neil was both interesting and knew everything inside out. Thanks to his experience and skills we were able to witness incredible sightings like having the privilege of meeting two baby lions cubs on the very first day their mother took them out of the den. We also witnessed a female leopard hunting an antelope, a pride of lions attempting an attack on a herd of buffalos, and the list could go on. The variety of sightings were particularly impressive and we could not believe how lucky we were to be both accompanied so well and to observe such wonders, all while respecting the animals’ lives and space. If you are one to enjoy learning all kinds of information on nature whilst on Safari we also encourage you to take a walking safari. We had the privilege to follow our guide Neil and were amazed at how much information you can gather on the animals by observing and noting the surroundings. For info, we booked the 8-Night Luxury Bush Trilogy package with Seasons in Africa and it was a very smooth and reassuring process. We absolutely recommend Kings Camp as a Safari experience and also bringing a camera to bring back memories like the ones we are sharing with this post.
