Beauclair Guest Cottage

Spent 5 nights. The host and staff were very helpful and friendly. The location suited us perfectly for access to the university residences and Coetzenburg Stadium. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The cottage we stayed in was very private and quiet. Wifi was a bit slow. Bedrooms are air-conditioned but not the main living area. It was pretty hot on the weekend and it would have been nice to have the living area air-conditioned, but I must also say, that the living area is relatively cool and it was not a major issue! The upstairs loft bedroom was hot and we could not get the upstairs aircon to turn on. But leaving the door onto the upstairs patio open made the room bearable. (I must add that the host left his mobile number for us to call on the weekend if there were any issues, but I had misplaced this, so I did not request assistance with the aircon). These were all not major issues and I would not hesitate to return to this property.
