Very relaxing.. sadly chef was on leave so needed to eat dinner in nearby town.. but very relaxing stay. Room had no mirror.

What a lovely location.   On our very late arrival we were accommodated and found clean and fully serviced rooms for the 4 couples.  Backed up by friendly service the following morning with a super Karoo breakfast  - Karoo hospitality in abundance.


I love my sleep and i usually  struggle to sleep when at a new place, but this was not the case here at Kampfontein Guest House. I slept immediately as I got to bed. 
Excellent bed! Firm and comfortable.

The pillows are simply amazing.

Truly enjoyed my stay here.

We had a very friendly welcome. The room was very neat and we had all we need. The accommodation is outside town but close enough to go to town when needed. The atmosphere is very relaxing. We had a very relaxing time. Our only complain is that we wish there was a bathroom door.

Paradise in the Karoo!!

Friendly staff nothing is to much, and most impotent: -

Rooms are spacious, clean, neat  and comfortable!!

One of the things I most appreciated was the fact that every thing was on time!

Excellent place to overnight. Well equipped bar. Need to arrange dinner in advance. Aircon in room. Swimming pool. TV in rooms. Microwave and fridge in room.  Pretty and neat rooms.  Nice stoep in front of room. Will stay here again

Beautiful, brand new and well equipped rooms. The venue is on a working game farm with stunning Karoo views and game that can be seen in the veld. Breakfast is a bonus! The hosts and staff are friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay.

The farm is situated on a hill, looking down on the fields of the Karoo. if you’re not in the mood for the delicious meals prepared in the kitchen, a braai pack can be supplied with some pap or a braai broodjie and can so be enjoyed with nature and some springbucks to calm you after a long day. The home of the Springbuck, is actually the paradise of the springbuck…

I enjoyed the reception, the peacefulness and the neatness of the rooms. I am definitely going back if given a chance. will not mind to refer an friend or colleague.

A Great Peaceful Stay

Karoo farm

The property is located just outside the town, De Aar, which makes it an excellent overnight option. The staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are well equipped and comfortable. Availability of lunch and dinner would have been an asset which will eliminate a drive to town.

It was easy to book the place.

The stuff is friendly and welcoming.

Fridge and microwave available. 
Not easy to get to the reception once in the property, signs to show direction from gate would be nice.
