we were welcomed in such an amazing manner - we immediately felt at home.
the room was cozey, clean and neat. 
we will definitely be staying there again.

I was staying at The Lemon Tree Guesthouse from 28/10/19 - 01/11/19.What a great experience I had.Compliments to Mari(hostess)that made my stay as pleasant as possible and their lovey chef(Mr R)who prepared beakfast fit for a king.The yard is something to die for,garden,swimming pool...excellent.Thank you so much Elzaine Jansen Mossel Bay

I was very happy with the manager, she waited for me to arrive and I arrived at 10:15 the evening, when she explained to me that they don't actually take bookings on a Sunday evening, but she assured me because I was a woman alone travelling that she would wait for me, I was very impressed with the manager.

Me and my family stayed in the Lemon Tree house. The rooms were beautiful, the service was amazing and you cannot beat the breakfast the next morning. I just wish it was warmer so we could use the beautiful pool! Maybe next time. 

The lemon tree is good and save as the couple that runs it are there 24 hours, they are gentle and caring ... They look after  guest really well, be relax there .The couple Mari and Rudi are excellent people and you will feel it straight away, listen to their wise voices. Treat them with respect and love ...This is from Maria ( spain ) 

I used The Lemon Tree House as accommodation on a business trip in the area. The host was friendly and helpful and the room clean and neat. The house and rooms have a peaceful atmosphere and the B&B is fairly close to very good restaurants

The venue was quiet and clean and the host was friendly and accommodating. Could not have the breakfast because I left very early - a food parcel would have been nice. Parking was in order. Thank you:)

The hosts were pleasant and the famed English breakfast was good ammunition for the ensuing hike. However the next door neighbours dogs barked the whole night and the shower, which had reportedly just been redone, began leaking at the stroke of midnight, independently and unprovoked, and took about 10 minutes of troubleshooting to stop. The next morning's shower involved a sputtering, spitting affair, accompanied by jack-hammer sounds, which were eventually resolved after a few minutes of tinkering. Then the hot and cold taps were also inverted in the sink... So I didn't sleep, nor groom well, but the place and the owners were nice.

The hostess is friendly.  The garden is beautiful.  But the house itself is old, with problems with the doors and windows (which poses a safety risk).  The house is in need of a serious upgrade.  The way that the televisions work also needs to be changed, as it is inconvenient to go outside of the room (especially if you're staying in 1 of the outside rooms) to change the channel in the lounge.  Also, other people might want to watch something else.  It shouldn't be advertised as bed & breakfast, if only a limited selection of continental breakfast is served.  I have never needed to phone any other place I've stayed at to ask whether their breakfast means a full English breakfast.  It is the general assumption that when a place is advertised as bed & breakfast, it includes a full English breakfast.
