This has to be one of the hidden gems of the world. An inner courtyard is enclosed in an oasis of beautiful trees, plants and quiet serenity and yet the staff are always on hand to assist, make you feel an honoured guest and provide. The rooms are quirky, quaint and yet of a high quality, with everything a high standard of cleanliness and privacy. The Olive Tree is in a quiet part of Johannesburg and is so much fun to visit, a balance of getting away from it all and yet being as sociable as you wish. Do go and visit.
