72 reviewsWe were very fortunate to find this gem while researching our trip to South Africa to go on Safari. I am always somewhat skeptical when places either give themselves 5 star rating or other agencies give that rating. Coral Tree certainly met those high expectations. The rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, private spacious veranda. Our plans initially were to stay a couple nights before heading to Pilanesberg for our first safari lodge, however after staying there we chose to use the coral tree for our base in between safaris. Gunter the owner was there to make sure all our needs were met. Each room has a fridge and coffee service tray. The bathroom was huge with two rooms one for vanity and the other with separate shower and tub. The breakfast provided was top notch with choice of anything hot. On our one night stay in between safaris we had to leave at 7 am to catch our flight to Kruger they said no problem to prepare breakfast for us. It’s about 1/2 drive to OR tango international airport. Would we stay there again? We are planning a safari in 2020 and plan on using Coral tree as our base.
