A very quite clean place:THE OWNER IS THE MOST FRIENDLIEST PERSON EVER WE HAD A NICE WELCOME; THE PLACE VERY COZY A FANTASTIC SHEEP FARM A PLACE I WILL DEFINITELY CUM VISIT AGAIN.The linen pure white & soft.A real stylish farmhouse love it: because of the drought we culdnt swim the kids was very disappointed & came prepared surely a next time there will be water.We came to burried our beloved moms ashes in ladismith & chise this farmhiuse as our accommodation what a pleasant place i strongly recommend this place

Spent three nights in this accommodation and it was the most relaxing time. This accommodation is a bit off the main R62 route through the Karoo, but is well worth the stop. 
The accommodation "Aloe Cottage" was very well appointed and had all the creature comforts of home.
The food, breakfast and dinner, was simply out of this world.  Way to much for one person to eat.

Beautiful, tranquil and private.  A good place to rest from the fast pace of life - even on a business trip stopover. Lida and Dries took great care of me - food was amazing!  I would recommend this place to anyone who needs timeout!

A warm welcome from Saar, the owner. A working farm but with a tranquility that can only come from being "in the country". Don't expect 5-star luxury. Loved the shower and the bed. Slept until the cock crowed - true statement. He starts early but, after all, it is a farm!! Just somewhere to chill out and enjoy the sound of birds and sheep (apart from the cockerel, he's an added bonus). Will be the first place I contact when in the area again.

A PIECE OF PARADISE

This country house has a beautiful location and looks as it is advertised , the self catering cottage though was a bitter disapointment as we only saw the rooms in the countryhouse on the booking site and expected something similar. The cottage was poorly furnished ,the bathroom was the worst we came across. Yes it was clean but we felt dumped in the backyard with any old furniture of days long gone. The ad says aircon but that is not there, the dstv dish was there not the rest just upgrade this place and it will be a wonderful cottage
