Excellent hostess, very helpful and welcoming. Arranged our whale trip which was wonderful. Lovely pool and loungers but room a bit tired particularly the en suite.

Fantastic service. Rendered their service on very short notice. They quickly took us to a few rooms so we could decide what will suit our stay best. Pleasant and friendly management. We didn't do breakfast due to the many options in the area. Room was clean and liveable. Nice external shutters on  the windows provide a little extra security and blocks the sun if needed. Car parking is on site and free but not entirely secure, it's in a low crime area and we had no typical south african crime to upset our stay.

Great little place

What a lovely place! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this conveniently located, clean, comfortable, stunning pool Lodge! We were given a warm welcome and the hospitality continued our whole stay :) Highly recommended! X

Fantastic!

I had the opportunity of staying at this establishment for 3 nights. A friendly welcome by the owner on a very busy weekend was a welcome sight on a Sunday afternoon. The room was well proportioned and clean. They even do some ironing for you on request, that was a definite bonus. The breakfasts was personalised and freshly prepared every day. Thank you Bridget for making my stay so pleasant.

Neat and tidy and conmfortable

I found everything so nice. The host is extremely friendly and helpful. The pool is good. The rooms are very well equipped. I felt very comfortable here. Maybe an air conditioner would be suitable but it didn't bother because the rooms had ventilators.

We stayed with two couples in this nice lodge and really enjoyed our stay here.
One room was really big, the other normal sized. The beds were very comfortable.
The service was hospitable and friendly. 
They took very good care of the tasteful breakfast.
We really enjoyed the relaxing time at the lovely pool. When we stayed here in february it was very quiet, looked like we had the place to ourselves.
The location isn't top to visit Hermanus by foot.

We only stayed one night in Hermanus and found this lodge online. It is a bit far from town, but if you have a car that is really not a problem. The rooms are spacious all face the pool area. The decor and fixtures are ok and in general the lodge is of an ok quality. Do not expect luxury, but rarther a comfortable and well maintained place to stay.
The staff we met were friendly and gave us tips on where to go for dinner. The level of safety was a bit over-the-top, but as long as you found the right keys for each lock it was ok.

Comfortable guesthouse

The guest house is located right on the main street, but there was little car noise. The rooms are conveniently furnished, the bathroom was a little narrow. The garden was nicely laid out, the pool was inviting to bathe. Breakfast was not included in the price, we tended to ourselves. There was a refrigerator, dishes were provided. Brigit, our hostess, was very accommodating and helpful. The place is known for whale watching. Unfortunately, the time for this seemed to be over. In the southernmost part of South Africa, it is not far from the point where the Indian and Atlantic oceans meet. Generally, the place offers an ideal starting point for many destinations, whether it is to go to Weing Bay, to strings, to Penguins, or to escape to the African Bay.

Simple and good

The owner is very kind and available. Breakfast is good. It is about 1km from the center of Hermanus. The room was not very clean, bathroom very small, towels smelling of moisture. The windows (very old fittings) could not be closed. The pool was dirty and the garden poorly maintained. Interior parking available to guests. I am sorry for the availability of the owner, but I strongly disapprove of this place. Unfortunately for us, we arrived late and we had no other choice... The morning immediately after breakfast we left without even taking a shower! Free Wi-Fi but very slow.

It's dated...

After a stressful trip from Cape Town, we were happy to finally reach Hermanus. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and had a suite in the back of the property. The property is located right on the main road and this makes it noticeable at night. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the centre of Hermanus. Unfortunately, the place is dominated by tourists.
