The Blue Crane Villa

I’d made a booking for 3 days to celebrate my partner’s birthday for a mini-getaway, in early May 2024. Our host, Gerda, took note of this occasion and at no additional cost or expectation, went and prepared our room with balloons, flowers and welcome drinks. If I say my partner fell in love with me all over again because of this, it would be an understatement. Everything was perfect right down to the petals around the bath which we’d later enjoy in the bubble bath candle-lit scene that evening. The property is extremely well maintained and very clean. With stunning views the scenery will take anyone’s breath away. The jacuzzi is fantastic at night with the gorgeous skyline over the mountains and the diamond studded night-sky. Absolutely stellar! They offer breakfast which is in buffet style. From cold meats, cereals, fruits, cooked breakfast (eggs to your perfect liking), and all hot and cold beverages. All the food is deliciously homemade but there’s something in those hash-browns that will keep you wanting more and more. On our last day, we had a 3hr spa treatment, compliments of Le-Spa, at the location. The treatment included full body exfoliations, full body massages, facials, hands and feet pampering. All of this, coupled with the burbling fountain pool and birds chirping, made for a tranquility that is only equal to what we dream of. Now, as for Gerda, our wonderful host, and her sidekick Olga, they went out of their way, above and beyond, to make us feel like VIPs. In all my travels, I’d be absolutely lying if I said I have ever been treated with as much attentive care. With all that the Blue Crane Villa has to offer, the location, the scenery, the amenities, the best part about it is the Ubuntu that you will receive. Somethings are worth the money, others far more than the money, and Blue Crane Villa is exactly the latter; just priceless.
