I absolutely love this place. Third time coming back and every time we received the same beautiful place like the last time. There is more houses, bathroom's and showers that they added. We stayed in 3 different houses and each one is unique but the comfort is the same. Made our family celebrations so special!! Can't wait for the one.

I came across this little jewel in 2016 and have been making annual visits for our family reunions. The bush shower is authenticity at its best and the wooden huts are very versatile. I love that it is child friendly. Brenda is very friendly and accommodating to special requests. Our family booked out the whole venue and were able to enjoy nature at its best. Long walks, stories around the fire and lasting memories. We look forward to many more weekends at this lovely place. I really commend the work they put into this place. Noticeable changes are made each year which gets a thumbs up from me.

This is my second time here. This place is absolutely amazing! We booked 11 houses without any issues. The service is quick and they assist wherever they can! They have enough bathrooms, kitchens and lapas. You can swim, take walks and enjoy nature around a big toasty fire. It's the perfect getaway from technology and the all so busy life. I can't wait to go back there next year!❤

Friendly service, comfortable unit, enjoyed the stay, was relaxing, pretty quiet, birds chirping, private braai, nice patio, fridge, everything we needed for a really good price. I’ll likely visit again

Old school, but nice

We arrived at Houtbosdorp, the owener was notcverry friendly. My husband was on standby over Christmas and he was suddnly called out so we had to cansel our stay. Our deposit was not paid back. The hut we were put in looks like a shack. Nothing is done properly. The toilet had no door an the outdoor shower was made out of reets and you could see though it. I will newer consider going there again an will never sugest it to anyone.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there.we got robbed, almost got killed,the security there is very bad.its not a safe place,I lost everything,phone,money,clothes,shoes ect.everything was just bad including the road to go there it's bad hey
