Room was very comfortable and clean. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. To the point they even offered to collect something from a pharmacy for me in De Aar! This is our new halfway stop from Johannesburg to Cape Town 

Excellent place to be with your loved nor in business trip, very enjoyable and good quality you'll receive during your stay. Nothing to hesitate with your naked eyes, only tremendous care you'll receive.

Nice big rooms in an old house, with a big garden attached.
The AC works in heating mode, but heating blankets are also provided
The coffee shop was closed because of Sunday.
A good place for a stopover between Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Hanover itself is a small place w/o a big supermarket, so better to bring all supplies you need.

Bun Clody Manor is one of the best places to stay when in the Karoo (Hanover)
They really provide true Karoo hospitality. The food (breakfast) was excellent and the rooms were great taking into cognizant that they even provided both aircon and electric blankets

What a great and warm welcome at Bun Clody, accommodation is affordable, very clean with a cozy back garden. The staff was very friendly to us and great host too. Thanks to you both shifts managers. We will definitely recommend this place to friends, family and to colleagues.

The accommodation was comfortable in this quaint and enchanting old Karoo house.  Food was very tasty and staff courteous, friendly and helpful.  Kyle and Gary made us feel at home and spent some time chatting to us - very warm and welcoming.  

This is a great stop over - exactly halfway between Johannesburg and Cape Town - in the heart of the Great Karoo. The staff were friendly. The rooms were comfortable. The menu options were varied and nicely priced. Overall- great value for money. 

Bun Clody is a beautiful authentic Karoo homestead with high ceilings and wooden floors.  It was exactly what we had hoped for.  Our host, Gary, was really friendly and very helpful.  We had the family room and the huge bed was nice and comfortable. Coffee and tea facilities are provided in the bedroom.

Hanover is almost always going to be an overnight stay, somewhere for travellers to rest on their way through the Karoo. If you have dogs with you, as we did on our roadtrip, then Bun Clody is a great place to stop over. Tannie Tossie and Oom Danie make a wonderful Karoo-style breakfast to see you off with. Its perfect for what it needs to be.

Best overnight stay we had. the hosts friendly we received a very warm welcome it was as if we were visiting family ,rooms clean food was excellent, will definitely go back should I be passing through. A plus was seeing the birds(Kestrels) come in to nest in evening was awesome.

We when to Bun Clody in August 2018, it the best half way location to stay if your traveling from JHB to Cape town  it was a wonderful stay, rooms are amazing with antique furniture and heated blankets.breakfast is amazing. Owners was very welcoming and warm hearted. 
The bed and breakfast has a lot of history:-)

Best service ever

Bun Clody was a hidden gem in Hanover after a long days drive. The owners were super friendly and hospitable. We had a great stay: comfortable beds, all amenities in the room as well as a few special items like chocolates on the pillow. Dinner was excellent.
