This is the perfect place to sleep over.  We had two spacious rooms next to one another.  Rooms were clean, bedding was crisp and clean and service was friendly and professional.  Aircon in the room was great.  Thank you for a great stay!

Everything was lovely. Checking in and checking out was quick and easy. Everyone was very polite and friendly with excellent communication. Everything was clean and well laid out. There was no noise. We would definitely stay here again.

The host was friendly, communicated well and very helpful especially since when I was there, there was no electricity in the whole of Middleburg but the service was still good. Rooms are very clean and the outside is beautiful. 

Had a wonderful stay, pleasant, very clean, friendly staff - Janine - great hospitality and exceptional service! Affordable and worth the stay. Interesting little town with lots of history and even within a movie! Will recommend to anyone.

We stayed here for one night on our way back to Gauteng. Janine, the guesthouse manager, went out of her way to make it a great and comfortable stay. The breakfast was also very good. We will stay here again!

At the middle on nothing, but pleasant break and worth stay over. We highly recommended this establishment to anyone driviing through this area. Jenine was excellent.

I have just had a wonderful stay and first class hospitality from Donovan, Janine and Maurice.
I was impressed on all fronts. 
My room was stylish and comfortable. 
The Karoovian restaurant serves exquisitely fine authentic food with influences from France, Mauritius, Mozambique and the Karoo. I can personally recommend the snails, chicken livers, curry and the creme brûlée. 
As a bonus, I was taken on a breathtaking mountain bike ride into the surrounding hills by Maurice. 
I’ll be back soon.

We enjoyed our stay at the lodge and the service was good. Can't complain. The only problem we had was shower mixer and counter table as they were too high and the chairs were low which makes it uncomfortable when eating.
