Perfect location backing on to Florida Road with its plethora of restaurants. Tennis courts in Mitchell Park 2 minutes away at the top of the road and Royal Durban golf course a 15 minute walk in the other direction. Amazing tropical garden (the monkeys from the park were regular visitors) cultivated over 30 years by the welcoming owners. We had a large room with loads of storage space. The b'n'b is very spacious with lounges, terraces, pools, a bar area and a breakfast room. Freshly made breakfast to order from the wonderful Theresa and Celia including splendid home made muffins. Excellent housekeeping and laundry done on request for a small charge. And the service is exceptional. Our aircon malfunctioned and Bea, the manageress, immediately offered an alternative room and phoned a tradesperson. We were happy to accept a fan temporarily depending on how long a repair might take. The following day we returned to a brand new airconditioning unit. We walked locally but if you need a taxi to go further afield Bea can give the number of the wonderfully reliable Jared who also took us to the airport. Bea got up at 05.00 to see us off! Service indeed. And all this for a fraction of the cost of other places I researched before booking. We were looked after for 3 weeks as though we were family. Thank you.
