Absolute stunning lodge in Dinokeng. Beautiful view of the bush, lovely accommodation with pool, boma and outdoor shower and toilet. Was a truly awesome weekend!! Cannot wait to go back and shower outside under the stars & trees.!! Thank-you Johan & Team for your exceptional service and brilliant accommodation.

The best place I have stayed at in Dinokeng.

Modern, super clean and friendly staff, solar power so no load-shedding, well designed and good furnishings. Gas stove and large fridge.
Super comfortable bed and pillows.

The shower was great with almost instant hot water and good pressure

Sipho is a fantastic manager and washed our car and was up at 06h00 to carry our bags etc..

Johann the owner made a point to greet us each day on departure.

Prices are very reasonable

What a pleasant stay I had, from the day I stopped at Crimson Bush Lodge. It was raining cats and dogs but Sipho with his friendly smile was there with his umbrella to welcome me and took me to the unit. I was pleasantly surprised with the unit it was compact but everything that was needed was in perfect condition. The excellent staff were friendly and very accommodating. 
Owners are hands on and doing a great job maintaining the place. The lodge is equipped with solar so load-shedding is no longer a problem. The accommodation is serviced and left spotless every morning. The grounds of the Lodge are beautifully kept . Johan, Janet, Sipho and his team are really exceptional hosts. I will recommend it, far the best place I stayed at in Dinokeng. 
It was very nice relaxing stay at Crimson Bush Lodge and I will definitely be back.

Crimson Bush Lodge in Dinokeng is one of the rare gems in hospitality.
We stayed in the 2-bed private house and as always, what a pleasure. The kitchen is enormous and equipped with 2 fridges, a microwave, a gas hob and oven and a dishwasher. The lounge/dining room area is huge and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. The 2 en-suite bedrooms are beautiful with extremely comfortable king-size beds and pillows. The en-suite includes a shower and an outside spa bath. A massive covered patio leading to a private pool and boma area completes the accommodation. The lodge is equipped with solar so load-shedding is no longer a problem. What more could you possibly need?  
Johan, Janet, Sipho and his team are really exceptional hosts. The accommodation is serviced and left spotless every morning. The grounds of the Lodge are beautifully kept and overlook 2 water holes outside the fence, that play host to families of warthogs, impala and kudu, other resident animals and a multitude of birdlife. 
It is always such a pleasure to stay at Crimson Bush Lodge and we will definitely be back.

This property was extremely comfortable and wonderfully appointed with everything you could wish for. The kitchen has everything. The beds are comfy. The pool was just a waist high tiny dip pool, but still welcome. The hosts were all friendly and helpful. We also felt very safe in the lodge.

We had such a lovely time that we stayed an extra day!

Johan and Jannet are both lovely hosts and the staff was all so friendly and approachable.  We stayed in Loft 11 which was absolutely stunning, it’s a huge space with excellent self catering facilities, a private plunge pool and huge covered braai area as well as views of the reserve from both the front porch and the back door.  

A game drive with Johan is a MUST. We had booked one and ended up going for two more (including a wonderful afternoon hunt for an illusive cheetah).  He and a lot of the other game drivers are in regular communication via radio so he will ensure that you see *something*. As it was, we saw four of the Big Five (didn’t see lions although we heard them) and thoroughly enjoyed the drives.

We also did a self-drive which proved to be more successful that we thought it would be as we saw lots of zebra, wildebeest and impalas.

We were sad to leave the magic of the bush but will definitely be back again.

It was our best bush breakaway that we have ever had.!!! The hosts are amazing people that go out of their way to make you happy and to ensure a comfortable stay. We loved it so much and will be back soon!!!!

We opted for this lodge as the rooming arrangements appeared to suit our needs as a family of 10. 
Wow, we were surprised as each flatlet is fully self catering and our room (11) was big enough to host all meals from within. Every room was comfortable and well kitted out. The facilities were great and the swimming pool area supplied us with heat relief and entertainment. The owner, Johan, arranged our game drives and Aqeel, game warden, was very knowledgeable about the wildlife. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, thank you Sipho and Louis.
Our stay was perfect and better than we expected, which is why we will go again.

Rooms 4,5 and 6 are close to the bush fence and the game will greet you early morning.
Johan Wartington the owner, is a very friendly, approachable and accommodating guy. The Lodge's gardens are neatly kept, very friendly energetic staff and professional approach towards visitors.

As campers, we decided to spoil ourselves and what a spoil Crimson Bush Lodge was, Johan was a fantastic Host, so welcoming and a lovely person to chat to, we stayed in Bush baby lodge and it was stunning, from the privacy to the bush views to the attention to detail of the lodge...we can't wait for the campsite part of Crimson one day 😉

Christmas with the Family

We stayed at Crimson Bush Lodge in one of the Loft suites for three nights. The suite was well equipped with a self catering kitchen and spacious braai, lounge and bedroom areas. Johan was a great and helpful host. A game drive is a must. The lodge is conveniently situated close to shops and Camp Discovery.

Fantastic bush lodge experience

My expectations were no were not very high when I booked on Lekkaslaap.   However, the * rating and photos did not do enough justice to Crimson Bush Lodge.   It is comfortable, pretty, offers privacy and there are views over two waterholes.   One can enjoy a cup of coffee watching the sunrise and a glass of wine at sunset.  I recommend booking a safari.  I luv the fact that there is radio contact between vehicles.   Easier to have good sightings at waterhole at lodge or during a safari.
