Die Kleipot Guesthouse

It is not the that I stayed at The Kleipot.  It is nice and clean. Close to restaurants. Very friendly and helpful receptionist.   Worth staying there. We left very early and they made sure that the gate was open for us,


One night lay-over on our way to Cape Town. Kleipot welcomed us and showed us to the covered parking. Room was comfortable and well-appointed. That special touch was having our electric blankets on when we returned from dinner on a chilly evening.

Keep you with your guesthouse and with friendliness to yr guest,Place is secure and walking distance to Ok and I will always recommend it to my colleagues and family Members to utilize it .God bless.u

I had a 3 bed 1 spacious room. Friendly receptionist. Rooms clean. Easy access and departure procedure.Good free internet reception.Safe parking and parking is close to your room. Close to OK store(100m), they very  tasty biltong at that particular OK store at cheap price, don't undermine it. I'll sleep over there on my next CPT-Gauteng road trip. 

C around close early, so bring your own supper if arriving after 7pm.

We forgot something there and the service of helping us get it back was excellent! Beds are a bit soft for personal preference, but the rooms are really comfortable. I will definitely recommend them as an overnight stop. 

I stay at Die Kleipot every year when travelling between Cape Town and Joburg. It's a great place to rest for the night, simple but with all the necessities. Clean, quiet and safe. Great secure parking so all your belongings are safe overnight. The room always has good quality amenities in the bathroom which is convenient. Service is friendly and helpful always. 

Many awesome restaurants within 1km area including on the premises.

I can recommend Die Kleipot Guest House to anyone, even if is just for sleeping over when travelling to and from the Cape or for work related matters. I have been dealing with the staff members for quite a while and I always get very professional assistance and my colleagues always ask me to book at Die Kleipot Guest House for the work related travels as they say they get the best service from everyone at the guest house.  Thank you for always being so helpful and kind.

Perfect overnight stay to break the long travel between Gauteng and the coast

Very comfortable and great venue for a night stopover as we were on our way to the Drakensberg.
It was great to cool off in the pool and although we did not eat at Die Kleipot, we would certainly recommend it to visitors.  It was clean and great value for money.

Our room (room 6) was absolutely beautiful, crisp and clean - thank you for an enjoyable stay.
We will most definitely stay at Die Kleipot again.
If I may, please remove the mask from the wall.

Wifi doesn't work in the rooms, TV very small, pool not usable and restaurant closed. The reason I give it a decent rating is that the area is just a halfway point from Joburg to the coast, and it's completely reasonable for a one night stay to break up the drive. Nothing fancy, but everything you need, and close to the supermarket/bottle shop/restaurants.

Good enough

Die Kleipot was a very convenient stop over between CT and JHB. Noma was very friendly and most helpful and it was so nice to walk around the lovely garden. This is ideal for families and  so nice to find a place that caters for 2 adults and 3 kids... in one unit. Lovely little play area with trampoline and jungle gym, together with a lovely pool to cool down after a long trip.

I was pleasantly surprised about the high level of fitments and furniture! Great shower and bathroom, wonderful bed and linen,  all very clean and brand new in a well thought out layout with lots of space!For a change a full supply of tea and coffee in room including a filter pot and ground beans as well as fresh milk in fridge, with rusks in a sealed holder. I will certainly go back again.

Great find with modern fittings

Our hosts made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived at "Die Kleipot Guesthouse". Our room was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean with a very comfy bed. Both dinner and breakfast were a blast! Delicious freshly cooked meals with plenty of fresh herbs being used. We could chose from several options, vegetarian ones among them. The value we got for money was simply amazing!

Great place

Overnight stay

A no-frills, clean and safe overnight stop. The ease of check-out also assists with early departure and the reception is allways friendly. I have stayed here before. What would be great, is if the restaurant or supplied braai facilities were to open up or be available.
