La Provence Bed & Breakfast

We stayed at La Provence on our return trip to Cape Town from Nelspruit. As a family of four with a 5 and a 6 yr old we booked the family Bungalow for R 810 the night. The bungalow is spacious with a large kitchen, sitting room and two bedrooms and a bathroom that looked recently renovated with a nice shower. The bedding and linen were top quality, same as the towels and the beds had electric blankets - great in those cold winter nights. Proper hot water in the bathroom that doesn't take ages to run. Secure parking in lockup under cover parking. It's easily accessible. It's close to the historic centre of Colesberg and still close to the N1 without the noise of trucks passing by. We have stayed at a typical road lodge in Colesburg before which was insignificantly cheaper though with a lot less comfort. We strongly recommend Colesberg as a stopover spot and La Provence as a B&B and will be back on our next trip.
