Blommenberg Guest House

Blommenberg Guest House is located a short distance from a good pub/restaurant and the main street. My room was very comfortable with air conditioning. Breakfast was excellent. The host was particularly accommodating with my requirement to visit Sevilla Rock Art Trail and return two days later.

This was my second stay at Blommenberg.  Rooms are spotless, clean bedding and everything that you need. We were allowed to check in early which was a godsend as I wasn't feeling well that day.  Unfortunately, the Wifi doesn't last with longer loadshedding phases and I had no warm water to shower with the next morning which is my only real complaint. Otherwise beautiful guesthouse, friendly service - I can definitely recommend.

A well situated guest house providing all  one needs for a comfortable affordable stay over. 
The rooms are spacious with all the facilities, with bonus a lovely garden and braai area, in the inner court yard. The owners are friendly and always available to assist. The breakfast was superb. Number one on our priority list for the next visit to an interesting town and surroundings.


Very welcoming, delightful friendly owners. Nothing too much trouble. Magnificent breakfasts to suit all tastes.Functional and comfortable rooms. Just the place to set you up and set you off on a great day ahead - be it for business or sight-seeing.

After a long drive arriving at the Guest house was a pleasant experience, it was clean and the staff was so friendly and helpful. They were quick to accommodate me though there were some hiccups with the booking by the travel agent. The room was clean, sufficient, and comfortable. I could sleep well-knowing everything had been so well cared for. Breakfast was also lakker!

Booking was easily accessible. Reception was warming and welcoming, area safe and access to rooms easy. Rooms clean and well equiped.  Food good and service excellent. Shops easily accessible and variety of restaurants in the area

What a wonderful place!
The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Accommodation was beautifully appointed, clean and very spacious. Breakfast was scrumptious!
I would definitely recommend to stay here. 

The owner of the Guest House help me with a nice room as we cannot get any accommodation in town.  He also phone friends of him for another night stay and go out of his way to help us.

We stayed over for one night and in our opinion it was outstanding: the service, the friendliness and the outstanding whatever breakfast. Thank you very much for a stay in a home from home environment. We hope to see you again soon! 

Made my way back from the Northern Cape and needed a stop-over for the evening.  The rooms were tidy, the staff were friendly- and helpful, and breakfast was delicious.  Definitely worth the visit - will come again.

Myself and my team enjoyed our stay during the first week of October and i must say we were looked after and felt at home. 

I haven't been back here since my last visit in September 2022, yet the service we received was excellent just as it was before.

Stay at Blommenberg, Clanwilliam

We landed up at Blommenberg because they had accommodation and most other places we tried were full, However that doesn't really detract from it as it did meet our requirements as a place to  spend a couple of nights during the flower season.We specifically wanted to go to the Biedouw Valley and Nieuwoudtville and Clanwilliam was a fairly easy drive from both. Everything at Blommenberg is kept perfectly clean and neat. The garden area was also well kept and attractive. There is a nice braai area available, though we did not use it.
Our rooms had everything we needed for our stay including an honesty bar. Though I do think the bottled water should have been provided free of charge, as I am not sure if the tap water in the area is always safe to drink, and also because many B&B's provide this these days. 
The toiletries could also be better selected, as, for the price we paid, they were minimal and very average.  
The breakfast was excellent and definitely a big plus. 

Good place to stay for flower viewing in surrounding areas

Absolutaly Stunning

On a recent cycling trip with 18 friends we stayed at the Blommenberg Guesthouse. Owner Neefie is an incredibly helpful host. He even made his garage available for our trailer and bikes and provided, at no extra cost, the use of a few rooms to shower on our return a few days later.
The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable with crisp duvets. The included breakfast started with a selection of fruit salad which must have had about 10 different fruits followed buy an English breakfast which was really good.

Very satisfied stay

We stayed there for 2 nights recently when visiting the spring flowers. My wife and I were accompanied by a 90 year old lady friend who has some difficulty in walking. The owners kindly placed our friend in a room close to the breakfast area. The hosts were really supportive and friendly and the rooms were spotless. Lots of useful advice was provided and the breakfast was substantial and tasty. The hosts were also extremely flexible and it is evident that they like people and want to make your stay comfortable. In speaking to some of the guests it was noticeable that many were returning business people. This was my second stay in the guesthouse and it will not be my last. It is however important to note that whilst liquid soap is provided you must bring your own shampoo. Really good value for money and the electric blanket was a nice touch as we were travelling at the beginning of spring and it was a bit nippy.

A Great Stay

A well-located property for my business trip purposes. Situated on the edge of town, so close enough to all amenities. Friendly hosts and the room was comfortable and well equipped.
