Lovely spacios rooms, delicious filter coffee in the room, free wifi, great service and safe parking. What more do you need on a business trip to Cape Town? The B&B is centrally situated with easy access to Stellenbosch and the airport. I will most definitely be back.

Two Oaks offers affordable luxury

I held my babyshower at the coffeeshop on 7 March 2020 and thanks to the staff's friendliness and going the extra mile, it was a huge success and a lovely event for me to remember. Nicole went out of her way from the start to accommodate my requests and also gave me some very useful advice along the way. She decorated the table so beautifully and was always there to answer my questions with a smile. My guests all loved their food! I would most certainly host any of my future events there and urge you to do the same! Very child friendly too with the friendliest waiters.

Amazing food at Babyshower

We booked in here for a night and were sadly quite disappointed. Several power sockets weren't working which we understand is from tripping due to load shedding but should have been checked before you take guests. There was no basic tea/coffee facilities - no milk, no sugar. TV didn't work. WiFi password only worked on one device. No bin liners in any of the bins. Plastic wrapper from pervious guest on floor. Hair up shower wall. After we had checked in etc the owner just walked into the room with a lamp for us without knocking or announcing his presence. Owner seemed friendly enough but when we told him about the things we weren't happy with he offered explanations rather than an apology. Breakfast was average. When the owner repeated the order back incorrectly, I corrected him and he cut me off mid sentence and just said "yes yes" and I got the wrong order. Maybe we got them on a bad day but definitely not somewhere we would return to. 

Not a comfortable stay

We visited Two Oaks B&B recently, and I wish to personally thank Martin and Marianne Ries for the excellent service. This Bed and Breakfast has a personalized touch to make you feel right at home. It comes highly recommended to everyone staying in the area. Tip: Top floor rooms has a beautiful view to wake up to!

Best place to stay in Helderberg area.

If your staying a couple of days or more  becareful what room you get as the room near the restaurant are noisy and kitchen staff scream and chat by your Windows from 7am. We only ended up staying 1 night because of this. Also note the kitchens are not well aquipted in the self catering units. 

Poor for what you pay!

This is a restaurant not too be missed, Serving among many other dishes some of the
Finest Willderbeast Steaks served on a bed of savoury porridge enhanced by fresh
Brussels sprouts with Goats cheese.
THIS IS A MUST VISIT......WORTH EVERY DRACMA.

We stayed at Two Oaks for two weeks in late January - early February 2016 and had a wonderful time. We felt right at home with the perfect balance of privacy but access to on-site assistance for whatever we needed. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable. The property was serene and secure. The breakfasts were fantastic, and Martin was a wealth of information on the history of the area and full of suggestions of what to go and see and the best routes for ideal viewpoints along with tips on traffic and parking at our destinations. Very helpful travel advice to choice locations, many of them off the beaten track. Close proximity to several first class but very affordable restaurants as well as to the beach, shopping and the mountains. Two Oaks is a real gem, and the hosts are gems as well. I wholeheartedly recommend it and have recommended it to family and friends. 10/10!!!
