and the  hospitallity is great.
Zoë and her staff is great!
Next year we come back and will stay langer. From that place it is Easy to gravel around Cape Town.


Excellent stay

Ibis House is such a gorgeous place to stay in Constantia! We had the most wonderful, memorable stay there. Zoe & her team were great. The house itself is extremely grand, beautifully decorated, surrounded by lush greenery. The day would start off with the most sumptuous breakfast, plenty to explore in the area! Thoroughly enjoyed the spa treatment arranged by Zoe, thank you! We have already recommended it to all our friends & family and would love to go back!

Amazing stay!

Ibis house was a real treat hidden away in a quiet corner of Constantia. The house is a blast of colonial tranquility and modern comfort. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. James and the staff were very attentive and accommodating. Wish I had more tine to explore the walks on offer and indulge in the coffee shop more. 

Outstanding!

Wow, what a find.   A paradise in a beautiful neighbourhood.  We stayed 2 nights and did not feel the need to venture out.  Ordered uber eats, enjoyed the garden and the nature reserve behind the house.  Only downside was the poor internet in the bedroom we stayed in - upper level in the corner.  Internet was good downstairs.  Fantastic staff and genuinely warm service!  Will be back.

Amazing ambience

Easily booked on Booking.Com. Welcomed by our gracious host Eugene with a refreshing drink. He then took us on a tour of this quaint boutique hotel's wonderful facilities. We were then shown our cozy Pool House room for my wife and myself and the Stellenbosch suite for our daughter. Had all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfasts provided were of a five star quality. Thank you to Eugene and his staff for their friendly and efficient service. Definitely a place to stay.

5 Star Venue 

We made our booking at 26/01/22, nearly a year ago and got the conformation!, when we arrived at the hotel they were fully booked and the hostess did nothing to think with and we could go……….unbelievable especially the voice of the hostess. Do not go there!! 

Unrealable hotel because we had a booking ( on paper) and they would not speak to,us!!

This was our second visit to the IBIS Guest House.  It is a convenient and secure location but requires you to have a car.  From there you can reach many wonderful vineyards, Cape Town, Camps Bay, Sea Point and Simons Town etc. The rooms are all very luxurious with comfortable beds and large en-suite bathrooms. Coffee and tea facilities and refrigerator are provided. Some of the rooms have large balconies with wonderful views over the garden and beyond.  The gardens and the pool are delightful and well maintained. Staff and hosts are particularly friendly and allow use of their large lounges and dining area. An honesty bar is provided.  Lunch and  dinner have to be sourced outside but a variety of restaurants are within easy reach by car.   We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend this Guest House.

14 Day stay at the IBIS guest house in Constantia Cape Town

The Ibis House was one of the most beautiful and romantic places I've ever stayed.  My fiance and I were upgraded to a room with a wrap around balcony facing the pool and surrounded by lush tress filled with singing birds.  The breakfast each morning was truly delicious with farm fresh eggs and croissants straight from the oven!  Staff was wonderful and so welcoming. We almost felt like we were in our own home.  the next time we're in Cape Town, we'll definitely be returning to The Ibis House.  I can't recommend it enough!

Happy in South Africa

We stayed here - chose purely from reviews - and found it to be an excellent choice.  The room we were given was on the first floor with nice views across the sandy tracks with a beautiful mountain vista on the horizon.  The service was good, not over the top but friendly and helpful.  Breakfast was very good - thanks Lewis - and the grounds were really pretty with a good sized pool.  Would definitely stay again.,
