Hidden gem

The place is neat, comfortable and easy accessible. The food is prepared like home away from home. Ideal for business and pleasure stay. The staff is very hospitable in their approach to customers and is always concerned about you. I highly recommend the place.

Awesome Stay

1st, DO NOT RELY ON THE PHOTOS; I don't know if from the owner's other B&B but it's NOT the one on De Kuilen Street.Electricty run out 3 times during my 12 days. 3rd time, I was occupying the room where the meter box was. At 6pm, I told the caretaker that the electricty was running low, he said he would call the owner to send the units. At 10pm, my 3 years old having to sleep, I reminded him. He came back 30mins late with a code that was erroneous and left again. By 11pm, exhausted, with 3u left, I decide to call the owner, who rudely tells me "NOT TO MINGLE (I guess she learnt the word recently and was dying to make use of it) IN THE RUNNING OF HER BUSINESS BECAUSE SHE HAS 2 GUEST HOUSES". She completely disregarded the fact that 1.I am a patron paying R650/night for rooms barely cleaned, clogged drains, hot and stuffy rooms and non-existent staff, R8/item for laundry and no breakfast as the name implied 2.That I am not an employee and should not have to stay awake so they can come in and put in the units, neither was it my job to remind them to add the electricty. At 00:15 with 1unit left, noone seemed to care that the entire B&B would spent the night on the dark and the heat. 
The owner clearly told me that it was NOT her problem and that I was only ONE person. 

Think about her statement when you book into this place... I am only 1 person and so is my 3 years old asmathic daughter but you could be that 1 person too. 

I am utterly disgusted. If this is how "guests" are treated, I am sure to never recommend her unhospitability to anyone, ever. 
If you are looking for a hideout away from prying eyes, this would suit you. 
But if what you want is a decent accommodation for more than 2-3 days that would provide you with rest and comfort, keep away from this place. 
I wish I read all the reviews before booking... Then again, it was peak season and all the decent places were fully booked for the holidays.

Untrained staff, multiple electricty shortage and absolutely rude and uncooperative owner

Bery friendly host & parking is secure. It's nice & cosy, it feels like home, food was excellent, i wish I could stay longer. Will definitely return soon. I will recommend to my friend's to visit & feel the taste,

Fake avertisment on booking : free shuttle to the aiport. The owner didn't try to solve the problem. No apologies, she just said we could leave if we wanted to... So we left ! It's a shame for a guest house.

Disrespectful owner.

My sister and I arrived late in the evening in order to rest here before our early flight back to Paris the next morning. What a bad surprise we had when we arrived. We booked this B&B because they were (pretending) to offer a free shuttle to the airport. Once there, the lovey staff contact the owner, who says that the price of the shuttle will be 300 Rand. Whitout apologies for the false information displayed on internet, she don't even try to help to find another solution because the price don't fit in our student budget. The owner says that we can left the B&B if we don't agree. Facing rudness and lack of professionalism, we decided to leave and find another accomodation at 10 p.m. If you are searching an accomodation near the airport to rest or simply a place where the owner will show a minimum of respect and humanism toward you, leave this place. EaglesNest Bed and Breakfast will not offer you that.

No professionalism and no humanism ! We left at 10 p.m

we had a nice time but they can get some gaming facilities for kids. The water shortage in Cape Town played a role coz kids could not use the pool.

Nice Time at Eagles nest

Paid up front in full, a week in advance and when I got there on the last flight for the day they had sold my room to some-one else. I was left stranded at 22h00 at night. Management nowhere to be found. Took over an hour to find new accommodation had to take what was available at three times the price. No reimbursement for the new accommodation I had to find. No Apology either.

Unethical Business Practices at this establishment

we left. the tiny claustrophobic room had no windows, only a sliding door which opened onto the public eating/ sitting area. so there was no air and no privacy. totally overpriced for what you get. deceptive listing photos. don't go there unless you want to suffocate and hide from the world.

like a prison cell

This room was not suitable for family. It was an alternative as there were no other rooms available due to non confirmation of booking.
