Franklin View Guesthouse

Stay was comfortable and cozy. Room had small ants, but this did not affect my stay. The shower head is very low and tall people struggle to take a comfortable shower. Security is very good, and parking is safe.

My wife and I booked in at Franklin View Guest House in Bloemfontein the afternoon of 19 Feb 24, staff was friendly and informative. The check-in was a greeting and handover of keys and information was shared, as quick as that.  We asked for recommended places to eat, and was given options plus places that had specials, all very close to Franklin View Guest House. The car park is big enough to cater for all the cars, and is safe. After dinner we had sundowners outside on the verandah overlooking the views and then retired in a lovely and very cool / well designed suite. In the morning, we sat down to a very enjoyable breakfast, included in the overnight stay rate that is good. Most enjoyable experience and will definitely visit Franklin View Guest House for all our future overnights. 

Again a trip to Bloemfontein, Again here at Franklin Viev. I enjoy everything. The silent area and Room, the great view, the very tasty and changing  Breakfast. Next time in Bloemfontein I will be back here.

It was amazing.  the view was lovely.  the staff were awesome and Gustav was always checking to see everything was okay.  i loved the atmosphere and it felt so homely.  the rooms were comfortable and i felt free to do anything i wanted.

Warm and friendly welcome and attention to our needs. We were in Bloemfontein for a family wedding, and Gustav and Marietjie kindly allowed the bridal party to use our rooms for preparations for the best part of the morning and early afternoon on Saturday. Bedrooms are large and clean, and beds very comfortable. Must have one of the best views in Bloemfontein, and exceptionally quiet for a good nights rest. Cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit and superb hot breakfast made to order. This is our "Go to" place when we are in Bloemfontein and is highly recommended

Possibly the best guesthouse experience I have ever come across! 

The most accommodating hosts and wonderfully pleasant manager. Definitely will be my first choice for a recommendation to anyone visiting Bloemfontein in the future.

Great views. Rooms are a good size and very clean. Beds are comfortable. All necessary items are in the room. I was surprised to even find a mozzie plug. It came in handy for sure. We were warmly welcomed by Gustav & Marietjie made a delicious breakfast. Peaceful & relaxing exactly what we needed after our long drive. Shopping center close by.

The staff was so friendly and made us feel so special, this will definitely become our regular getaway spot. 
Our room was spacious, yet very cozy.

Guesthouse with Hotel service!

I was working on a project and part of being there was to make sure I had 100 excellent WiFi service. I certainly did and the team was incredibly helpful when we discovered that the WiFi was great but my computers battery was not holding the charge. They did everything they could to support me. The view from the hill top was breathe taking. Breakfasts tasty. Gustav is a wonderful human, interesting and a big heart. His wife, a beautiful being. Even arranged more gluten free bread for me! And there manager was awesome as well. All the staff we caring, supporting and wonderful. The guest house itself was a work of art!!!!!
