Highly recommend, friendly staff and close to the shops! Kids played lovely in the garden and playground. Lots of family fun for the whole family. The trees is wonderful. Safe and secure parking. Johann is very friendly. Will definitely visit them again

After our car broke down on route from Joburb to East London, we found this to be the only guest house in town with a vacant room. We were welcomed by a friendly guest and the rooms were clean with all amenities. The free wifi was a bonus for the price.

Clean and comfortable rooms for a very good rate!
Were welcomed by a man belonging to the staff, who marshalled us into the parking spot and showed us the room.
The owner came by to say hello and ask if everything was alright. We were very happy :)

Last minute
We (two persons) travelled from Jhb to Bloemfontein and decided at the last minute to overnight at Bfn. Tula@159 was able to accommodate us at R375 for the unit per night. We arrived after dark, still received a friendly welcome. Secure parking.
Our room was spacious with a double and single bed, Flat screen TV, microwave, electric frying pan, kettle, and sink to wash dishes. For some or other reason there was crockery but no cutlery, fortunately we had our own – as a last minute booking and it was probably just an oversight.
The on suite bathroom had a shower, basin, and toilet. All we needed for a one night stay. No morning alarm needed as the units are near a busy high way and traffic circle. We wanted to leave early so all worked out fine for us.

Pleasantly surprised.

Good Price, very pleasant stay!

We stopped over for our trip between ctp/jhb. Comfortable large room with everything you need. Close to shopping centers. Clean linen, well equipped kitchenette and even a small play area outside for the kids. Shower was mouldy though and the fan did not work properly, as it could only stay on the slowest setting. For a hot summer night this poses a problem. Also next to a busy street but this didn't bother us as we left early. Overall a good stop over.

A comfortable stopover 

At first sight the room looked neat. However the ants were all over the room, the shower door fell off each time you opened it.  The stove is so high up that you cant see what is in your pot. So it is a danger to cook anything. The leaflet said that bedding will be changed every 2nd or 3rd day.  For the four nights we slept there it was not changed at all.  We had a lot of trouble with our booking as well, which was cancelled apparently by someone and booked for the wrong dates whereas our proof of payment stipulated the dates.  It was ok to sleep at but not a welcoming experience at all

Overnight

DO NOT RECOMMENDED!!! My family and I stay was overall very terrible. The owner was rude. As a person of colour I would not recommend anyone to book here. They were always supervising us while we were in the garden as if we were going to damage or just do something unlawful in on the premise. They complained about the amount of people that were on the premises but we informed them that we were going to use the premises to have a photoshoot for my little brothers dance. Owner chased away and spoke rudely to my father. And when it came back to refunding my mother the owner took a whole day to revise the money , very inconsiderate that we would need that money to book somewhere else after he chased us out !!

Horrible stay , rude owner

We stayed at Tula on our way to the Cape. The person that booked us in were friendly and the accommodation affordable but the rooms vere very cold without any form of heating. Some of the furniture were broken and the bed linen were smelly. Will not stay here again
