We stayed at the equestrian farm (they have more than one location) and enjoyed our stop over so much we did it again on our way back (something we seldom do) 

The location on the farm watching the horses from the room, and the game from the neighbouring lodge was awesome. 

Also of note, we were kindly escorted from the N1, despite having GPS, just to make sure we didn't struggle, true hospitality. 

This place really  is a gem.  Great  hospitality, when  we couldn't find it the owner  got in his car in his pj's even  though it was  cold outside  and showed  us where  to go.  Awesome  views  to wake up to.  Horses  then some  zebras in the background.  Really recommend this place. 

After spending a long day on the road, this is the ideal overnight cottage to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet out of the city buzz. It is a lovely cottage with a kitchenette ideal for short stay travellers. The cottage we stayed in was really spacious and had another room (part of the kitchenette) and an additional toilet and basin for an additional traveller. I would really recommend Karma Guesthouse to anyone wanting to spend a peaceful night and waking up to a lovely sunrise over the horses neighing in the background. It was a pleasant experience!

Very comfortable, affordable and friendly 

Peaceful stay

Awesome place

We were travelling down to Cape Town and decided to overnight in bloemfontein. Instead of a hotel or backpackers we opted for a guesthouse because they are more comfortable and friendly. 

We waited almost an hour to be let into the guesthouse since the person opening for us didn't have a key. The guesthouse was dark, so we switched on some outside lights so our car would feel slightly more secure. 

We were led to a room and given keys without instructions. We paid up front and were left alone. 
The room was very nice with a large bathtub,  shower and comfy bed. 
There wasn't enough water to run a bath and the internet didn't work. 

When we returned from dinner our keys didn't work for the front door, (we might have been doing something wrong, but we didn't know since we weren't given instructions ) we eventually got in through a back patio door after a lot of struggling. 

The guesthouse seemed to be a place which should have been closed for renovation or low season. We felt unwelcome and forgotten. If they had simply turned us away we might have found something better. If you don't have time for guests, don't take bookings.
