44 reviewsWe (a group of 4 couples, so 8 persons) arrived a late afternoon in November, but found the place closed. We called the number we found on a signboard. 5 minutes later a lady arrived: apparently the place was taken over by 2 very kind ladies, Sharon and Edith, who had not been informed of our coming by the former owner! Nevertheless, Sharon did everything she could to give us a warm welcome and I must say that the 4 rooms were wonderful! It was closing day for the restaurant, but, since we were very tired and didn't feel to go out again and look for a place to eat, we were very disappointed, but Sharon kindly offered to make us diner. It was SO good! She even made a special salad for one person who doesn't eat meat. Another thing: the interior of the restaurant is really fantastic, it makes you feel like you come into a dream world, you do not know where to look first! Breakfast the next day was also one of the best you can imagine. So: do not hesitate: go and book a night or more in "ye old thatch"!
