Lots of space! I was thrilled to have a kitchen, living room and washing machine all to my self! The Adriatic is just across the street and it's a few minutes walk from the bus station. Their restaurant is amazing! Check in at the restaurant.

Fabulous place steps from the Adriatic

We went here without reservation, and by luck someone did not show up so we got their table.  We had salad and linguine with langoustine.  The pasta was delicious and we had pannacotta for dessert which was also good.  The bottle of wine we order were good.  We try to book again for another night but they were fully booked, The respond when we asked about the reservation was a curt "we are full".  There was no "would you like to book it for another night."  They obviously have fully booked restaurant and don't need to add that extra smile to the service.  If you don't want to be disappointed, book well ahead of time and make sure to show up on time.

Good food - weird hospitality

This was recommended by staff at
Hotel Piran and we were told locally owned, excellent food and good atmosphere. It was wonderful and the owner and her assistant made us feel so welcome. Their suggestions were delicious. I had grilled sole one evening and boulabaisse another. Both prepared to perfection. When I return to Piran,
I will return to Pri Mari. They exude 
hospitality along with good food!

Best Recommendation

We are on the clean side, so you brush some of our review off.

The apartment is close to everything, the parking, the sea shore, the old town, etc. This great location is the plus side of this lodging option. We had the ground floor apartment. It is dark (one window in front) which is tolerable, but the worse part is the damp smell that nothing can get rid of. Glade sprays, dehumidifier, air-conditioning, nothing will do, it just smells like a wet dog all the time.

The equipment is fine, but there is no coffee-maker, neither a toaster. However, there is a great panini-maker (or waffle machine) that makes great toasts (or grill-cheese). 

Many little things add on to give a rather so-so experience. There are dishes and ustensils, dishwashing soap, but no dishcloth. The cupboards would need some cleaning. All trashcans are pedal operated, but all the springs are kaput. The bathroom door handle is about to fall off, the shower head holder is broken off. Even the plastic hand-washing soap bottle pushdown is falling off.

We haven't been upstairs, but we can only recommend to avoid the ground floor.



Dark and smelly

Although I visited more than 2 years ago, on going through my pictures I felt Pri Mari warranted a review that would help others. I stayed in the ground floor apartment that is ideally located a few minutes from the promenade and just within the 'no vehicle' are of Piran. The apartment is pretty large and self-contained with a kitchenette, wash facilities, bedroom, dining area and sitting room. The apartment opens literally at street level so families with toddlers have to mind the door! The owners run a lovely restaurant next door and are very friendly and accommodating of requests.
The free shuttle bus stops just outside the apartment.
All in all a very pleasant stay!

Ideal location

My favorites. Location is great: 30 seconds walk to the cobble stone beach to swim and 5 minutes from the parking area, 2 minutes to busstation. 10 minutes to trg.
It was very clean, cosy and very well equipped. Washing maschine, mixer, boardgames, books. It was likea a home and we could have been there whole summer. Cooling and dehumidifier. 
PC with internet but it was a bit slow. Bedroom is in the back of the apartment so you do not hear noise from the street at night. + There is a nice gostilna next door - fish there was great. Love it.

If something negative should be said then: shower corner is a bit tiny if you are larger and shower bracket could not hold shower while showering - had to keep it in hand.
