Apartments Benedičič

Stayed here for six nights (10th - 16th December 2018) for my birthday. I booked via booking.com and contacted the owner, Miha, as our flight arrived late in the evening. Miha assured me that he would be at reception to check us in. He was true to his word! I had a little trouble paying with my card on arrival but Miha was very patient and even offered for me to try it again in the morning. Fortunately another card worked without any issue! Our apartment was fab - very spacious and clean. Two huge beds, a dining table and chairs, huge wardrobe and drawers (plenty of room for clothes!), but unfortunately no sofa or comfy chairs to relax in. The kitchen although small has everything you would need for self catering; decent size fridge, four ring job, crockery and cutlery, loads of pans, kettle etc. The bathroom was huge with a lovely big shower, two sinks, toilet, bidet, and LOADS of towels. A few negative points: - there wasn’t a lot of hot water and so me and my fiancé were in unable to have a shower each without having to wait for the boiler to heat the water in between. - our apartment was not cleaned the whole time we stayed there! Although we’re not particularly messy, our bins could have done with being emptied as they were over flowing upon our leave which I felt really bad about! Also, as avid walkers the floor could have done with a sweep part way through our stay. - woken up by staff downstairs every morning. Lots of voices echoing in the halls and banging around. The apartments are in a brilliant location! There is a large supermarket right across the street which is great for self catering. It’s only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Bled and to bus stop; close enough that you can enjoy everything but not so close that it is noisy. Miha very kindly let us over stay the check out time without charge, as our return flight was very late in the evening. This was very kind and greatly appreciated! Overall we would definitely book another stay at these apartments! Thanks ❤️🇸🇮
