Cloistered beneath the castle walls, this stylished building has only a small parking lot but we were lucky to find a place. The modern lobby enables a glimpse to Roman foundations behind a glass. A sign warned that the hotel´s Roman ruins were closed to the public due to renovations, but I dind´t see any work being done. The location is a few steps away from the pedestrian area. The lobby has a cute bar, but it was always closed during our stay. Our room had a king size bed, slightly slimmer than regular ones (what I call European king). The shower is in the tub, separated by a tiny glass, so be prepared for water ponds.
