Perfect location! The property is located pretty much at the foot of the fortress, maybe a 3-minute drive. It's 10 minutes into the little town, where there are a couple restaurants and an ATM, as well as a hill on the outskirts with a church and some magnificent views of the castle. Hosts seemed flexible with our late arrival, which was nice. Decent breakfast. Rooms were nice. Things were clean. Our kids really liked all the pets and farm animals and had fun exploring in the morning while we packed up. Hosts had knowledge of surrounding area. We would consider staying there again. We were there mid-spring and it was unseasonably cold, so the rooms (especially the dining room) was cold. It took quite a while to get hot water in the bathrooms. Small complaint, but the communal refrigerator wasn't plugged in and we couldn't seem to find where to plug it in, so we ended up not using it. Probably just slightly over-priced (especially for off-season). This is one of those times I wish TripAdvisor let us do 3½ stars, because that's really what this is.
