Myself and my family visited this place earlier on this month. We were not impressed, by several things, but there were some bits and bobs where the management needs to focus on. Food was good, but some of the buffet fridges did not work what was obvious by room temperature salads in cold buffet (room temperature fish salad). Food management need more flexibility and flow, perhaps more senior chefs shall take a leadership, someone who is retired and does the job as a pleasure. Mineral water in the pool was also really good, I felt like, I swum in the sparkling water. Almost all the staff were really polite and kind, however some of them need a boost on customer service and language skills. Refurbished rooms looked like new, bedding was clean and ironed as well as bath towels, toilets were clean and tidy, however there were some unnecessary findings in bathrooms, which need a final touch. Single room and I could not sleep due to the poor bed condition, wood needs to be tightened and next time I 'll make sure that changes will happen immediately. Furthermore poorly equipped un-welcoming gymnasium spread on two floors, no leisure time area available due to damaged pool table. The bar has been closed from 10pm, what was not expected. Duty manageress tried to please us so she managed to reopen bar for us again. I see problems in this hotels as problems caused by poor senior leadership rather then employees failing this place. As they have to face unhappy customers and they try to please them a lot. We will come back again as we liked food, water and employees who were taking care of us. At this moment, I would say, that this hotel shall have just 2* instead of 3*.
