The location is great, in a small valley surrounded by the forest. The landscape is beautiful, very quiet and the air is fresh and clean. The rooms are nice and well furnished. The staff is great, very nice and helpful and we have no problem in using English for communication. The breakfast was very good and there is a bar available for the evenings; the hotel doesn't have a restaurant but there are many options around, easily accessible by car. Being a wooden construction the soundproofing is not infallible, but overall we weren't bothered by it. As an word of advice, the entrance to the acces road is not easy to spot and it should be used with attention. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and we'll like to thanks to the staff for the great service.

Quiet and relaxing

Spent here 4 days with friends and the place is pretty amazing. However they only serve breakfast, they are in a partnership with a restaurant nearby where from we could order dinner every night. The wellness section is small but good enough for the amount of people can stay there at a time. The only negative thing I can mention is the road you go down there from the highway. It’s only few hundred meters but felt like a deep. Snow chain is a must if the road is snowy.

Nice place in the forest

Great venue, rooms are clean snd you can sleep very well here. The small spa inside is the right place after a heavy night, and the outside sauna brings that something extra, as well the cigar room ideal for evenings.
Overall a great place to spend a weekend, or even a Ski holiday, as the resort Donovaly is just a minute away by car.

Shining „little“ Star!

Rooms are truly tiny, same for the bathroom but for the latter, the disigner did a truly good job.
The service is shockingly non existent. When we arrived 2 young ladies were there chit chatting. After checking us in they did not even offer a hand to assist with the luggage (I am over 70); next morning one of them was there together with a man in his thirties: same... I perfectly understand somebody does not like to assist but then they have to choose another job than working in a hotel! In addition none of the 3 could speak more than very few words of English.
When booking, I requested a quiet room: we were given a room on the (heavy) traffic side, some 100m above: it should have been mentioned when I booked if it was not possible.
We never managed to open our window (in the roof, as chalet style)
Breakfast was included but not expressos, someting that was not even mentioned when we ordered them. We found out on the bill.

Tiny rooms, no service

Maybe we were out of season (late November '17), maybe it's the first time I've been to Slovakia, but this hotel didn't really hit me.... we were the only two guests in the whole boarding house, dinner should be booked in advance otherwise forget to put something under your teeth (you can go downtown to donovaly which is a few minutes away by car where there are restaurants), the room that they assigned us was on the balcony (very low and I who am not a perch, 1.77, I hit my head several times) small bathroom, dark room with a bit of dark furnishing, in my opinion it seems to accept in a lounge!!! no credit cards!!! to finish it is located at the end of a very steep road.

I don't know. He didn't convince me.

We've spent a night here traveling through Slovakia. After a week camping we really needed a hot tub and a comfy bed so just picked this little B&B based on its location, price and wellness services. I must say it was just perfect! They have 3 different saunas with a jacuzzi :) and overall the whole place is just neat and looks quality oriented. It is close to the highway but not much disturbed by the noise thanks to the dense forest of the neighboring hillside. The staff was helpful and professional. Only room for improvement is that we couldn't pay with credit card.
