We stayed over Easter break, good price, great food, beautiful nature. 
There’s a play room for children with slide and ball pit- my kid loved it. Also pool, jacuzzi and sauna- all great. 
Rooms could do with like touch up but we didn’t mind. No cell reception which was rather relaxing. I like it here, will be back for sure

Pros - Amazing deal for accommodation & half board
- variety of options for bfast and dinner - worked well for kids and adults too
- pool, jacuzzi free of charge - amazing for kids
- playroom just outside of the dining room/beside the bar - great idea!
- lovely staff, everyone was super welcoming and helpful

Cons -
- no cell signal and when everyone was on wi-fi during bfast or dinner it just simply wouldn't work for some people (me)

If you have little kids who have not been on the slopes before then go to demanova resort for snow activities instead of Jasna. We were with 2 kids under 6.

Hotel is situated just under the Cave of Liberty. Very clean, but quite small rooms.Some with large balcony.  Staff is very helpful, nice and  always ready to serve. Hotel´s spa includes small pool, not suitable for swimming, but good enough for resting int the watter, not  deeper than 1,5 m, suitable for children and retired.  Jacuzzi, 2 types of sauna, physioterapists offers massages, oxygenotherapy, magnetotherapy and many other types of spa/cure things. Good to have some after many long walks which you can do in surroundings. Breakfast gives you feling like in heaven, lunch and dinner offers typical Slovak  cuisine. Really good place to stay, rest and do some walks around. Sleep is OK, only hearing splashing water can wake you up.

When you choosing hotel in this area is not for the accommodation it's for the nature and caves and mountains. So for this reason I'll give them 5 stars. It was perfect for us to come and have place to sleep, shower and eat. Poor wifi connection and no signal whatsoever at the hotel near by which is ok, cause you come there to relax anyway and enjoy the view and beauty of the nature. The guys in the dining room/bar are pretty cool, little bit of an attitude but it's ok they work very hard. I enjoyed this place very much

Nice hotel

The hotel is suited next to the pathway to the cave Demänovská Jaskyňa Slobody which makes it very comfortable to visit this cave. The hotel itself offers extra services as massage, pool and some leisure activities as table tenis or table soccer. The standard room we were accomodated was a bit small. There was no place for towels in the bathroom, the shower was too small even for a small person. On the other hand the personell was always at service and very flexible to our needs. The food was OK, but the variety could be better. What could be considered also as cons is that there is no GSM signal coverage and the hotel wifi is also poor.

good location, good services

It is family friendly hotel. It has nice small playroom close to restaurant. Food was fine, but the diner was served only until 7pm and on the first day you can not choose your meal. Pool ok, but the steps seemed dangerous. 
Staff was very nice, no complaints there.
The wifi connection was very bad, and combined with the bad mobile network coverige in this area, it posed significant problem for us. 
Area is great, there is plenty to do within 30km.

Briefly ...

POSITIVE - The POSITION !!!

- ski shuttle bus stops right across the street from the hotel, rides FOR FREE

- Food is tasty, quite a wide range of meals (breakfast & dinner)

-Staff attentive, smiley, friendly and helpful, but in my opinion hotel is lacking employees; understaffed

- Complimentary pool entrance, but pool very limited in size (really small = impossible to swim) 

DISAPPOINTMENT - it might sounds ridiculous, but for your meal in the restaurant you get only tiny plates (kinder-garden-like size plates)

- meals are served ONLY for one and a half hour (breakfast & dinners)

- bar closes at 9 PM (21:00)

- according to the staff, there is NO SIGNAL, NOT AT ALL (network coverage) in the entire area of the hotel as the only place in the whole Demanovska Dolina

- Internet? Good luck :) 

- No bathrobes in the rooms, only for deposit at the reception. 

- Fitness center/Gym (if I can call it that) situated in a common room, where people socialize, drink and kids play table tennis 

- Even though you may get a package with some complimentary wellness/spa treatments (steam & Finish sauna, diff. massages, etc. ) 
           - Saunas are max. for 3 - 4 people with a chance the sauna automatically turns off, so it is necessary to run out of the spa area to inform the staff and then back

-Minor, but really annoying (at least for me was) - night lights that are supposed to be situated on the sides of the bed are situated right above your head, really low (after the second night I stopped counting the number of times I hit my head)

- FOR COUPLES & OLDER PEOPLE - Hotel is HIGHLY CHILDREN FRIENDLY !!! (for some might be an advantage)

OVERALL IMPRESSION - The Location really is what matters in this case, hotel is surrounded by mountains, stream flowing right next to the hotel, cave situated only few meters from the entrance of the hotel, almost magic silence...But taking into consideration all the above mentioned, there is a wide range of various options for accommodation in this area of Low Tatras - Demanovska Dolina.
