-Good stay for those who’s on a budget and wants to explore the city.
-Warm and welcoming staff.
-Good enough room for all your needs.
-Ideal location right in centre to see the culture and try traditional Slovak food.

Good budget friendly hostel/hotel

A quiet family-run hostel, good for spending a couple of nights. It is close to both the train station and the city center. The room was very well equipped, and sufficiently clean. Good quality/price ratio.

nice family-run hostel

me and my mother stayed here one night, it was clean and quiet there. The owner was very nice and shower us around, i have no complaints whatsoever. The location is good, it’s near a lot of food places and the bus/train station & the centre are around a 15-20 minute walk.

1 night stay

Got a double room at the price of a single,facing the inner yard.
It was clean,quiet and comfortable and spacious enough,with the central heating more than satisfactory (and the possibility to arrange the heating in your own room).
There is a fridge and hairdryer you can use,in the hostel corridor,with all you need for making tea,(tea bags etc.)too.(Kettle to boil water in the room).
The owner was gentle and accepted a late check out with no extra cost.
The surroundings of the hostel are good,with mini markets,shops,restaurants,plenty of cheap street food with late time options and pubs and 7-8 minutes walking distance to the old town.Easy access to the railway station by tram,in front of the hostel,and bus stop to the bus station,in a couple of minutes walking distance. 
In short,unbeatable price to quality ratio, especially if you get a room facing the yard,although I cannot really have an opinion about the rooms facing in front.And I would definitely stay here again,if I come back to Bratislava.

Best value for money.Clean, confortable, good location.

Stayed here for 2 nights as a group. The location is very good opposite Slovak Pub and McDonalds. There are lots of bars and restaurants on the main street open late and also a great bar under the hostel which serves breakfast and food/drinks throughout the day. The rooms are spacious, a little dated but fine all in all. There is a tram stop outside which we didn't need as its a 5 minute walk to the Old Town. Igor the owner was very helpful and gave us a map and recommended places to visit and places to avoid. Its well worth price we paid.

Stayed 4 nights September 2019. Great location within walking distance to main sightseeing and outing locations. Just beside tram stop, convenient and easy access by public transport. Great hospitality from Igor and family. All basic amenities available, kettle, hair dryer, sharing fridge, microwave; clean and well maintained room. Great value for stopover.

Excellent spot at city center

Hyde Park Hostel is a really cheap and comfortable place for family.  We would like to thank Igor and his wife for their interest.  Waking up at 5 o'clock in the morning to go to the airport to call us a taxi and stating that the airport fare is fixed is a really noble attitude.  Thanks again Igor and lady. 
I also have to mention that for those who are coming, there is no credit card that only passes through cash.

Hostel has perfect location. It's clean and comfortable. The owner is very kind and helpful. I had an excelent single room facing the couryard. If I come again to Bratislava I will stay in this hostel again!

Perfect stay!

My daughter and I are staying here at the moment in a twin room ensuite. It's great... spotlessly clean, fresh flowers, bottle of bubbly on arrival, toiletries, kettle, use of fridge (great for beer 😁). Tram stop outside, this didn't bother us one bit ie sound, but might some. Location brilliant, 5 mins walk from older part of the city, so not totally in it, but we were happy. Shop across the road (we found them a little frosty) but another shop 3 mins up the road, towards old town, who were lovely and helpful. Also wine shop next door to this shop also helpful!! Slovak pub across the road brilliant fun and much nicer than some of the bars in the city. I will make one comment...the mattresses are thin...each evening I joked about not being able to sleep on the plank of wood... however each morning I woke up fully refreshed and ready for the next day. 10/10.

I did not want a crazy party hostel, where I get passed out and shaved. However this was a bit too quiet, nothing going on or a common area to hang out. Or maybe I did not find it? However I had really nice service and slept my night well.
