188 reviewsWe previously stayed at the Fala for a week in January 2019 after a cruise. At that time we interacted with several staff working at the Fortuna because along with the Elita these three hotels are all a part of the same hotel group. Although we enjoyed our stay at the Fala, we enjoyed our stay at the Fortuna (Feb 2019) before our Panama Canal cruise even more. The room, including the bathroom, was large; the bed was very comfortable; the room was very clean; the cleaning staff was friendly and attentive. The font desk staff that we interacted with---Elizabeth, Nicole, Joel, Alejandro---were terrific and competent, satisfied all our requests. The location, just one block from the beach, is practically unbeatable. They also provide beach towels, as well as beach chairs and umbrellas; the latter on a first-come-first-served basis. We're on another cruise in Feb 2020 and will be staying here again even though we'll be flying out of Miami.
