Great World Serviced Apartments

The apartments are located at the Great World mall. The new brown subway line has a stop at great world, from there you can quickly visit all of Singapore. We rented a 2 bedroom appartment to have amply space to put our luggage. Apartments are brand new, very modern, very clean, large, have a fully equipped kitchen and come with dishwasher, wahings machine and dryer. 4 AC units keep the place cool.
Reception was excellent (for some reason the reception is outside) and we got a keycard for room/elevator/access gates and a EZ-card for the subway.
Rooms are very quiet, excellent insulation from noise from inside/outside. In the great mall you have an excellent grocery store and a starbucks.

No hotel needed when you can stay here

Credit must be given to Fanny (Duty Mgnr) and Jessie (Sales Manager) of Great World Serviced Apartments.  I have to help a friend to check out over the weekend and both the ladies have been very helpful.  Without going into alot of details due to privacy, I must say that both the ladies went the extra miles to help and resolved the problems.  Most people will not bother - I mean they will do what is within their job scope.  Truly appreciate it ladies! 5 STARS to you.

Extra Miles

Our family of 4 (16 and 12 year old sons) spent five fantastic weeks in a three-bedroom serviced apartment at Great World.  Everything we needed was in the apartment and the ease of moving in was a blessing.  The staff is incredibly kind and helpful and the facilities are impeccably clean.  We loved the gym, waterfall area, business center, pool and courts!!  The location right next to Great World mall with a grocery store, restaurants and retail made our transition to a new country and culture so much easier.  I'll forever be grateful to the good people at Great World!

Excellent transition from US to Singapore thanks to Great World!

We stayed here for more than a year because our home was getting renovated. We loved the location but more importantly the excellent facilities and the exceptional warmth and service provided by their staff especially Fannie, Ee and Peter ensured that we never felt we were in want of anything. Every small need was immediately taken care of abd we would highly recommend this service apartment to anyone visiting singapore. Short term or long term stay!

Great Location, Spacious, Connect to the shopping mall & MRT. 
They renovate both towers. Walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, and tourist attractions. Room is modern and remodeled. Recommended for family with kids. Staff is very helpful.

We have stayed in GWSA for a few times now and we always had a pleasant stay. The newly renovated unit is very nice. However, we had some issues with the AC while we were staying there and had to get the engineer to come a few times to get it fixed. Even then, the AC was not completely fixed. We had issue with the AC machine being very noisy and then it also dripped a lot of water. It would have been better if the AC was also replaced during the renovation. 

Pleasant, cozy, convenient

We lived at Great World Serviced Apartments for over 5 years this time around, and 3 years during a previous stint in Singapore. The staff and team are great and extremely friendly and helpful; the apartments themselves were outdated but recently renovated which is now, better. Would recommend trying the place out if we need to stay for a few weeks or more. 

Great Place for Long Term Stay. 

The place is a building site. One half of the building is being renovated and as a result there is constant noise from the building works and drilling. Often building materials are lying in the corridors. The owners of the Poolside Cafe have left because nobody uses the pool because of the building noise. There are air locks in the drainage system in the apartments which creates constant noise through the night. The drains in both showers smell. There has been quite a few Cockroaches' and geckos in the apartment when kitche door is open. The WiFi in the apartment is very weak and keeps streaming. The apartments are tiled floors and very noisy above and below. The beds a very uncomfortable. The spare room has two small beds that pull down from the wall which may be ok for children but no good for adults. It is a pet friendly building and that means there are lots of dogs and with all the wet weather you often encounter these smelly animals in the lift. It's hard to find anything good to say about the place. Definitely not good value for this overpriced place.
