I've stayed here for 2 nights with my wife.
Small room, not recommended for family traveller or leisure.
Walking distance from Bugis MRT station, but not to close also. Easy to find food nearby.
Helpful staff, when I ask about the food worth to try.

Budget Hotel

No frills lodge with the "boxed up" feeling and space constraints in the room. Its location remains the only advantage I reckon. Value judgement: overpriced just like most of the hotels in the lion city. Spent a night and checked out without looking back or missing anything from there. Evaluation somewhere between "poor" and "average", leaning towards the former.

a hotel not worth the money (despite its "economic" tag)

I stayed here for one night with my daughter before moving on to our Sentosa stay.  It was a bit of a walk from Bugis MRT.  Plenty of food on offer in the surrounding streets or inside the Bugis mall. Rate quite decent if booked early via their website in line with the accommodation.  While it wasn't sparkling new, it was comfortable enough.  Worth considering if you just want a cheaper bed to sleep in and a private en-suite.  Efficient staff.  I left my adapter there and they held it for me.

Good no frills place for a no frills price

I've stayed here twice. Once with family (five of us split between deluxe and superior room), and now just solo (standard room). The name "Econ Inn" promises a budget hotel experience and you get exactly that.

The rooms have a corner walled off with frosted glass for the toilet and shower. Beside this you'll find the sink, a small cabinet for your clothes and something that could be either a small dresser or table. The rest of the space is taken mostly by the bed, with just enough room for one person to skirt around the edges and to open the door. There is a bit more free space in the deluxe room but the general layout doesn't change.

The building is old so the rooms are musty and the fixtures and walls have acquired a patina that makes the place look less clean. On the bright side, the wi-fi connection is very fast and the staff is friendly and accommodating.

If you just want a room to dump your shopping bags and sleep at night, this is a decent place to stay. Otherwise, if you're actually planning to stay inside the room during daytime, better get one with a window so you can let in some fresh air and light--or look for accommodation elsewhere.

I arrived in the evening to find tht the hotel had changed hands, It is now called Garden Beach Hotel, they had no record of my booking, although they aloud me to stay the room they gave me was filthy, I had booked for 4 days on the third day they said I had to change rooms and pay another 100 spd, the only good thing about it was tht it was very central
