If you are visiting Praslin, make sure you book to stay at Villas Du Voyageur - it really is your own little piece of Seychelles paradise.

There are two villas on site. Our villa was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. Two double bedrooms, each with an ensuite, plus large living/dining/kitchen area, then opening onto a covered terrace which overlooks luscious natural gardens and a path down to your private beach (which is good for wading in the shallows, or with reef shoes, being able to walk out to deeper water) - sunsets were beyond anything you will have seen elsewhere.

Dealing with Marcel, from pre-visit communication, to meet-and-greet upon arrival, was first class. Nothing was too much trouble and the goal was always to make our stay more enjoyable. 

Some extra special points of difference - welcome coconuts on arrival, a guest pass to access nearby resort with an amazing beach (probably the best beach on the island), car parking on site, some fresh produce grown on site left for us to enjoy, resident tortoises and the seclusion to make it feel like you were on your own desert island.

Without question we would recommend, and hopefully we will be able to return one day in the future, and next time, stay longer! Do yourself a favour - book to stay at Villas du Voyageur.

NOTE: The photos on booking sites are older photos, so the villas are even more modern and fitted out than you might initially think.

Your own little piece of Seychelles paradise

Very close to paradise !
 We stayed for 5 nights in this quite and beautiful place, one of the best experiences ever. Amazing views, very welcoming and helpful owners, very nice spacious apartments and a small beautiful beach at the end of a awesome garden. Your private beach area with sunbeds and pergola…more beautiful than pics can show. Day starts and ends with all those cute pets around ( cats, tortoises, dogs, chicken and ducks..)
All this creates a very special place and atmosphere,- highly recommended for all looking for a peaceful, beautiful and welcoming place with heart and soul in Praslin.

Very close to Paradise

We have had a great stay in Villas du Voyageur. It's has it's own private beach and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Natalie is a wonderful and very helpful host, who has shown us good hospitality. Thanks for such an amazing stay! Highly recommended for those who travel with family.

Great stay in a calm and nice place

The marvelous garden, well furnished apartments, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable terrace with ocean view, private beach area - all these look exactly the same as in photos and even better in reality. The villa is situated quite far from the main road (5 mins on foot) and you can enjoy the real nature without cars and people noise.  But the real treasure here is the owner, charming Nathalie and her family! They are so warm-hearted, generous, helpful and caring that we did not feel like ordinary customers but like welcome guests. If this is not a paradise then what is the paradise at all?))

P.S.: It's not connected with the villa, but during the low tide it's almost impossible to swim without water shoes (because there are a lot of corals on the home beach).

This place is definitely an amazing tropical paradise!

Incredibly beautiful location with fantastic garden and beach area. 
The owners and the staff (as well as the animals that live in the garden) are so charming that we felt right at home. 
Another plus: some of the most beautiful beaches in the world are within easy reach by hiking (40 - 60 minutes).

Absolutely charming location

stayed with Marcel for a week, the dogs, cats, chickens, geese, not to mention the tortoises. no question too crazy for Marcel. he and his team received us kindly. enjoyed the garden and the private beach with nice chill spot. spacious, quiet in the green. and thus, yes, a little further from the civilized world. but easily accessible by bus. it is advisable to rent a car for a day or so. small supermarket within walking distance. nice spacious, clean apartment with stunning views from the terrace.

Wow, what a wonderful place

Natalie and her husband take really good care of us. They are really nice. Everything is perfect and as described (with the garden and the accomodations near the beach). Close to bus stop. We loved to be away from Praslin's major attraction while we could easily reached them by bus, car or by walking. We wish we could have stayed longer in this small heaven. We would like to thank the whole team. We really had a good time. It is the best "hotel" we had during your holidays in the Seychelles.

Excellent villa in Praslin

We came to the beach in front of this facility and were terribly mistreated by one of the workers who said this was a private beach (it’s not - all beaches in Seychelles are public) screamed at us and shouted we should leave while showing us the finger. The owner should really have such disgraceful personnel removed from the area. 

Terrible treatment of visitors to the beach

A true paradise. Nathalie and Dagmar are the nicest person on the island (beside the taxi driver I can not recall his name), and this hidden little gem called Villas Du Voyageur is just a perfect place to stay and enjoy overall Seychelles experience. Totaly recommend 🤗.

Paradise

Natalie and her mother Dagmar are the perfect hosts. My husband, daughter and I are just back from a wonderful stay in one of the two villas. The villa is in top shape and kept clean and with all the facilities working very well. Natalie organised airport transfers for us which were prompt and professional. We also opted for breakfast to be served and this was wholesome and of good quality. The location is perfect and the two villas are tucked away behind a well maintained garden. The beach upfront, visible from the balcony of the villa through the trees can be reached through the garden. The beach was pretty much a private one and we were there on our own most of the time. And then the animals - the dogs, cats, chickens, ducks and a tortoise. So much fun! The villa is on a quieter part of the island, but nothing really is that far away with buses available around the corner or if you hire a car. Small shops and a well-stocked supermarket are also within walking distance. We just loved our stay and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Thanks for everything Natalie and Dagmar. Hopefully we'll see you soon again.
