The check in process was great with a very friendly front desk agent. We booked a 2 bedroom place for 4 people and it was more than enough space. The living room is big, the wifi is great. Comes with bottled water, a big kitchen and up to date appliances. Also has a washing machine. The only reason this is not 5 stars, is because there were quite a few cockroaches in our place. Didn't really bother us, as the place seemed very clean, but could be a problem for someone else.

Friendly staff, nice big apartments, great value

Staff and owner where unfriendly . Did not wanted to help and said that we are on a tropical island so it is normal. The location is not good either alot of noise coming from outside. We got woken up by the church.

DEAR ALL

We arrived at the etablishment on Friday 12th April at about 7 o clock in the evening. We filled our forms. We made our payments! And it was late, it was the receptionist time to go home so she made the lady who was a security guard assist us ! She escorted us to our room which was very lovely, and the decorations on the bed were to die for, my boyfriend realy loved it ! She explained to us about the tv, the internet, other amenities such as the cable tv, aircone, and the washing mashing. We stayed at Praslin Holiday Home for two nights we were departing on Sunday afternoon ! When it was about 11:30 the receptionists called telling us that check out was at 10 oclock and that she could let us until 12 oclock after that we will have to depart or pay an extra Scr500 for day rooms ! Which was crazy beacause when i made the reservations no one informed me, as a receptionist myself i had to ask her what was the amenities and things that we can do whilst staying at the establishment ! She answered the phone as if i was bothering her , even when i called again few time to reconfirm she still didnt mention check out time ! We made our breakfast. We packed our clothes , so it took time. She called my friends in the other room threatning us to get out or she wuld be in trouble. In the first place if she did her job well she would not get in trouble. And in the first palce she is the receptionist even when its time to leave your guest always comes fist, Dont leave a security guard to do the work of a receptionist. It was sad because we booked our flights for 16: 55 in the afternoon and by 13:00 we were leaving the guest house ! My friend had a little 2 year babygirl with her and what was she suppose to do ? Sit on the side of the roads with her baby ?? 
After packing we went down to the reception i confronted her told her that was not the way to talk to her guest and she started saying that she informed when realy she did not !. She was in such a hurry to go home that there was miss communications. Even if we are the same nationality guests are guests. Black , white, grey,blue, purple, you treat all your guests the same ! She started saying awfull things , after giving the key , we had to leave rhe establishment took the bus to the airport. We sat under the bus stop for another hour ! At 3 oclock we entred the airport, where we were asisted by a nice lady she offered us an earlier flight back home. The rooms was nice but as a trained receptionist myself. That was not the way to treat a guest. And we were actually thinking of returning! Next time we will go somewhere else !

Weekend at Praslin Holiday Home !

Excellent guest, nice area to park the car (with security), big room with nice AC in livingroom and bedroom. Nice balcony and all necessary kitchen appliances !  Make sure u ask for more info regarding where to go / what to do, the host is really willing to give best tips of the island. Good location if someone has a car to explore both sides of island, also grocery stores very close. One issue with water was fixed very fast so we were very happy overall.

6 Days Praslin Nice place to stay !

Out 2 rooms apartment was spacious and fully equipped. The apartment was very comfortable, big beds, big bathrooms, great sofa, kitchen and tv. 
It is situated in the perfect location - near shops, currency exchange, bus stop and gas station. A few minutes from airport by car.
There is a free parking in the front of accomodation.

Perfact place for stay in Praslin

This is ideally located on Grande Anse beach, close to everything you need.  The apartments are spacious and well equipped for cooking of basic foods for your stay.  There was plenty of hot water and the whole place was a good size. There is a school at the back but only light sleepers will be affected by this. I think I heard the bell for lunch once in 8days.
There are plenty of supermarkets nearby, each with their own pros and cons. The Farish over the road does not sell alcohol but has better fresh veg than the shop within the small shopping arcade next door(which does sell alcohol). They also have fish pakoras at the till which were tasty to reheat in the oven.
The beach is not for swimming and has 2 or 3 streams running into the ocean. They smell pretty similar to sulphur and sewage and had I known I may not have stayed in this area.  
Cote D’or beach was much nicer. However the best beach is Anse Lazio in the north. (Or Anse Georgette or Petit Anse Kerlan but these are only accessible through a private 5Star hotel)
Buses are 7rupees (35p) per journey no matter how far you go. They are very frequent, hot, windy and wild! Don’t worry, they DO make it up the hills.

Lovely apartment hotel, the apartments are very big and very comfortable. There were all the appliances you could need, incl aircon and washing machine, fast speed wifi. The staff was very friendly and helpful with getting around, restaurant recommendations etc. The area is well connected with the local buss running just outside and connects you to the entire island. ATM and exchange office and local ships and decent supermarket. It is very good value for money and we'd very happy to come back and stay here!

Lovely stay in large apartment

The girls at check in were very nice and great, very welcoming and helpful.

Good accomdation

We spent one week in this hotel and I can fully recommend for everyone. Very close to post office an shops. Easilly accessable beaches by public transport or rented car. Valée de Mai is around 3 km far and Anse Lazio is approx. 17km. Staff vas very friendly and service was great. Welcome was amazing and Lady on reception desk was always very helpful and aranged for us everything what we needed. Rooms are well equipted including refrigirator and washing machine. It is also well equipted if you would like to do cooking by yourself.
