I really wanted to write this review because I liked the property so much and also the kind, down to earth owners. This property will absolutely exceed your expectations...everything including the furniture, fridge and A/C are first class. The view is incredible...if only we had stayed longer, maybe next time! 
Every night we imagined the French ships arriving in Anse Possession. The host Arnaud was without a doubt the nicest Frenchman I have ever met and luckily I could ask him lots of questions about life on the islands. He was also really smart and knew that his helpful contact book should only contain the essential things for his guests. The location is great, even if you don't have a car...we could walk to the supermarket in about 25 mins. We even walked to Anse Lazio (1 hour)...although we helpfully got a lift back from the kind local lifeguards. The nearby snorkeling was the best on the whole island...easily swimmable! Overall, this place is a jewel in the crown of any holiday in the Seychelles at a reasonable price...don't hesitate to book it.

Affordable paradise with the nicest owners!

Loved our flat. Arnaud was very friendly and helped us with anything we needed to know or do. Stayed in Flat Dolphin on the first floor w a beautiful view of the ocean/bay. Everything was so clean and tidy and maid came every day. We had a rental
Car but there is a bus stop right outside the house also. We had breakfast every day on our terrass and also an evening drink.

Took a day trip w boat right from the beach to St Pierre for some snorkling and Curieuse for hiking, swimming and bbq. There are some shops at Anse  d’Or and also a small grocery shop on the way to Anse Lazio which became our favorite beach. 

What a great place!

Villa Face Mer is a family run operation, with the owners actually living on the property, which is very reassuring. On arrival, Arno, our host, took time to explain everything we needed to know about the apartment, which has all mod cons - air conditioning in the bedrooms, ceiling fans, great Wifi, TV, telephone, coffee maker, washing machine, microwave. Our terrace, with dining table, overlooked Anse Possession with its sandy beach and pleasure boats bobbing about on their anchors.
We were given fresh beach towels every second day, which was useful. Also fresh bath towels and clean sheets. The cleanliness was immaculate.

We could not have picked a better place!

We stayed at Villa Face Mer for six nights and enjoyed it immensely. The apartment is spacious, clean and very well equipped. It gets cleaned every day which we appreciated a lot. The kitchen has everything you need even a Nespresso machine. 

The view over Anse Possession is fantastic and the street with bus stop right in front of the house did not bother us at all. There is not much traffic and sometimes it is even entertaining to watch people get on and off the bus. 

Our kids loved the turtles in the garden next door and the small strip of beach where they chased after small crabs or played in the sand. Our neighbors went snorkelling here and saw some big fish and fire fish. We discovered a baby sting raye when walking out during low tide.

We hired a car and enjoyed not being dependent on public transportation. The apartment is well located near Anse Volbert where there are shops and some restaurants. Also, it is only a short drive from Anse Lazio, which really is breathtakingly beautiful and nice for snorkelling when the sea is calm. 

The owner of Villa Face Mer is very welcoming and really tends to every need. He was always up for a chat and gives good advice for shops and sights. Also, you can tell that he takes good care of his apartment, everything was spotless and looked quite new. We enjoyed having ac in the bedrooms.  

We often cooked a light meal ourselves in the evenings as it gets dark quite early and we loved relaxing on the balcony or at the beach after our adventures during the day. 

We cannot recommend Villa Face Mer enough if you are looking for a home away from home. 

Breathtaking holidays on Praslin

Villa Face Met is absolutely amazing! The location is fantastic - right opposite the beautiful Anse Possession beach. The apartment is much bigger than it appears in photos, and the terrace is very spacious as well - the perfect setting to enjoy a nice home-cooked meal or lounge and enjoy the sunset. Arnaud is very kind and accommodating. He went out of his way to make our trip a most pleasurable one, giving us lots of advice regarding where to go, what to do, where to shop and where to eat. He also offered us an early check-in and let us keep our bags on the premises for the day after our check-out. I could not recommend this place anymore highly! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Spacious waterfront apartment

Villa Face Mer is comfortable accommodation, very clean and with stunning view and a  convenient location for further trips round the island. Owners were quick to respond prior to our arrival and welcoming upon arrival. However there is a street and a bus stop between the house and the beach. In the beginning we were a bit doubtful about this but eventually despite the street, the traffic noise was not bothering our sleep and that street strangely connected us with the island. Seeing fishermen coming with fresh catch, locals passing by in a way synchronised us with Praslin routine. Above all the hosts and the views of Villa Face Mere are beyond what we expect.
