What a wonderful stay. The house is lovely, the grounds immaculate and the owner a gem. We had a fantastic time and were made to feel at home. Kitchen has all the things you require. Laundry is done for you. Villa is cleaned often and location is great.

A touch of paradise.

10+ experience! The host Gervais and his family make this amazing and spacious villa a real highlight holiday experience. The huge garden is simply awesome. Kitchen, utensils, BBQ, airco’s and fans, it’s al there, very well maintained and clean. There is a supermarket and a beautiful beach next door. WiFi is also available. Gervais is more than happy to take care of all requests, the perfect host. Highly recommended!

10+ Experience

Villa Kordia was our second accomodation during our Seychelles holiday. The first things which surprised me was how huge the villa is and how neat is the garden. Our check-in was smooth and fast and we got many useful additional information about current situation with public transport, nearest shops, what grows in garden and how we can use it (from now I really love the lemon-grass tea). Owners were really helpful, friendly and kind to us in general. As I mentioned above the villa is really large and spacious there is one big, comfy bedroom with bathroom on the first floor, two smaller ones bedrooms each with bathroom and large living room with big kitchen on the ground floor. The kitchen is well equiped, I've never miss anything when I cooked. Our villa had front and back terrace, the back one is with grill. All the covid mandatory things (desinfection, thermometr) are also present. Next advantage is, that one of the most photographed beach on Seychelles Anse Royale is close to the villa. We really enjoyed our stay in Villa Kordia and I already miss the time which we've spent here. Definitely recommended, it is a hidden pearl of the east coast.

A wonderfull villa!

One of the best  mini vacations my family and i have had.

Despite booking last minuite, Fadette our host was so accomodating and friendly that we instantly felt comfortable and at home.

Our home for the three nights featured 3 rooms, 3 bathrooms and a fully equipped  kitchen.
The villa has kept elements of the traditional creole architecture  in the design such as the windows and doors ( a nice touch!!)
The place was clean and well maintained.

The wooden furniture and  counter top of the kitchen is very beautiful and complement the decor.

The garden is  large and well maintained, the best i have seen for any similar establishments.
The entire property is walled in  and security cameras are well placed, making you feel safe.
  

The outdoor shower, blended into the vegetation is very creative and  had me contemplating  a shower in the early hours of the morning under the stars 😊.

The kitchen door  opens up onto a decked out area with bbq facilities  and give you privacy.

I would recommend  villa kordia to anyone who is looking for a home away from home.

A HIDDEN GEM!!!   FANTASTIC!!!

We booked a room via Booking.com with them for our stay in April 2020. Due to the pandemic, we were not allowed to travel so we had to cancel. We got refunded from ALL other accommodations in Seychelles (we booked multiple as we were planning to island hop). I was in contact with Villa Kordia, they promised to send a refund if Booking.com doesn't charge them any fee which they didn't. This was in April - it's June now and the money still didn't arrive. I can't reach them by email for more than a month now, they don't reply. I understand that everyone got hit by this crisis, especially the ones living from tourism. The reason why I'm angry is that they lied and never responded me anymore. If they say that listen, I'm not going to refund you because I really need that money now, I say fine, let's meet in the middle and maybe get some discount when we can travel again. But now I wouldn't even want to go there anymore. One can't run a good business with such attitude. I'm sorry for them!

They don't reply to emails and first promised a refund and then never actually sent it.

Pros:
1) Beautiful Garden and entrance. You can pick fruits as well from the trees whatever it is they have to offer at that point in time. Kind of a mini Animal planet like ecosystem itself which the garden presents. Was able to spot a family of small hedgehogs as well. Very nicely maintained.

2) 2 Mins from the Beach. You can just stroll and pass your time on the beach. Bring a few chairs as well. This isnt a public beach, which is a good thing. So you will probably have the entire stretch to yourselves. Not a big stretch of beach, but enough.

3) 3-4 Mins from the Supermarket. You can get all household requirements from this decent supermarket. Since this is a self-catering Villa, this point comes in very handy. Also food is a bit expensive in Seychelles, hence making your own food makes sense

4) 3-4 Mins from the SPTC (Seychelles Public Transport Corporation) Bus Stop. Also transportation is a bit expensive in Seychelles (One-Way taxis especially). Hence this point comes in handly. Travel from here to Victoria at a flat bus fare of 7 Seychelles Rupees (Very cheap to travel in bus). Though, you can only travel in bus, if you do not have much luggage. A backpack will do.

5) Very friendly host. Catered to all of our needs, wherever possible. They even let us stay for 3-4 hours at the transit house since our departure aircraft was a few hours post the checkout time. We are very thankful to them for this.

6) A very well equipped kitchen with all amenities

7) Was expecting a washing machine in the house itself. Came to know later that we had to provide clothes which would be washed free of charge. The good point was that the clothes were washed and provided on time hassle-free.

8) Breakfast was great. Very good, healthy and tasty food (Eggs, Fruits, Coffee, Bread, Jam etc.). As i mentioned earlier, food is a bit expensive here. For the simple breakfast provided, its 10 Euros per Person. It would be better to procure items and cook which is where Points 3 & 6 shine.

Few Areas of Improvement:
1) The wifi wasnt upto the mark. Out of the 3 nights/days we stayed, it was completely off during 1 complete day and was intermittently going on and off during the remaining 2 days. For a person who wants to be digitally connected, this was a bit of a disappointment.

2) In the booking website, it was written that Toiletries would be provided. Apart from a simple handwash, we didnt have any toiletries around. If we were aware of this, would have probably packed some from home.

3) In the booking website, it was stated that an Iron would be present. This wasnt available either.

4) On the point of the washing machine, was expecting the washing machine to be in-house where we ourselves could do all the washing without troubling the owners. Just a minor expectation mismatch.

5) On the element of Privacy, though the Villa is completely private and to ones own family, it is also a bit close to another villa (The one directly opposite to it). Maybe i am being too critical, but a felt a tad low on Privacy due to the closeness of the 2 villas. It isnt entirely private if you look at it.

6) The upper floor shower wasnt able to give Hot water. Just Cold to Luke Warm water. Maybe a minor scope of improvement here as well. The lower floor was able to provide hot water though. 

Overall, a great Stay.

For a person who wants to completely disconnect from the world, this place is a great one. This self catering Villa comes across as how a typically Seychelles resident would stay. It has the traditional rustic touch to it.

Overall I am giving it a rating of 3. If the Wifi problem and the Hot water Issue (Upper Floor) is solved,a definite 4. If all the points are addressed, its a definite 5 for the Cost and value being delivered.

Nice Villa with a Beautiful Garden

Villa Kordia lies in a big fruit garden, with plenty of flowers and fruits you can pick and eat. It's 1 min from the beach, narrow but very nice. It's a 2-storey house, with nice and clean rooms each with bathroom and shower, 2 on the first and the 3rd on the upper floor. Gervais with his wife, the owners, are awfully sweet: we had every day dinner prepared by them, eith local fish, always different and with different flavours, together with rice or potatoes or breadtree fruits, and vegetables. So special, that we decided to have dinner at home 10 of 12 days. The place is quiet, only plenty of birds in the garden singing all day long. True paradise!!!

Seychelles in a fantastic villa

We enjoyed this beautiful place.
Fadette and the family are very friendly and they provide excellent service, reliable and professional. The villa is equipped with everything you need and a "Take away" and a shop is nearby ...
So we highly recommend Villa Kordia

Very nice villa with a beautiful garden...

Our first visit to the Seychelles has become unforgettable! Very beautiful nature and wonderful people! Many thanks to the owners of the villa Cordia-Gervais and Fadette for a wonderful holiday. Villa Cordia has a very good location, close to the airport and various shops. Very cozy house and a beautiful garden with flowers and fruit trees.It's magic to wake up to the singing of birds and the scent of flowers !The villa has a well-equipped kitchen and you can prepare meals yourself. I want to note the cleanliness of the house and the cordiality of its owners, who are always ready to help in any situation. If you want to see the real Seychelles, without glamor shine, feel the spirit of Seychelles, be sure to visit Villa Cordia!

Six Days in Paradise!

We stayed at a 2-bedroom villa for 5 days and we just loved it. The villa is very spacious, which we found amazing as our toddler enjoyed all the space inside and outside. There is a nice big garden with different trees and a fantastic outdoor tree shower, which I personally fell in love with. 
The owners are extremely helpful and friendly, we felt like a part of their family, I even got a private cooking class to learn how to make a fish curry (which I already tried to make at home). I definitely recommend everyone to book a half board as you will not find such delicious meals anywhere else on Seychelles (we have been to Mahe, Praslin and La Digue, tried many restaurants, but this was just exquisite <3). 
The beach right at the villa is a nice flat beach, not overcrowded, Anse Royal beach is 2 bus stops away (max 5 mins by car). A car is not a must, but recommended, if you dont want to use public transport. 
We loved our stay at villa Kordia and are already planning our next visit.
