Review Tannete
I do not recomend staying at this guesthouse because of the following reasons:
1. We asked for an upper floor room on booking.com and she agreed but when we arrived we got a very small room on the ground floor. 
2. When we checked in, Tannete told us that the diner at her place is 200 rupees per person. On the last evening, when we paid, we had the big surprise that the price for diner per person is 250 rupees. We paid it but while eating the last diner she came at our table and told us the price was actually 350 rupess per person and then she charged us more money. You cant do that with your guests, after eating many diners she changed the price from 200 to 350 rupees without consulting with us. When confronting her she told us that you can not eat this much food with this amount of money but this is not our job, to know the prices of seychellois food. This never happened to us and we visited many many places. It is inacceptabile. So my advice is to be careful and establish the price from the start on paper not just orally.  
3. The room is very small, the furniture is old, the lighting is very bad, no tv and very small bathroom. On booking.com our room description said the room was 165 sqm but actually the room is about 10sqm and the rest of it is common spaces like shared kitchen, living room and patio. Again, this is misleading. 
4. The shets had stains on them and the beach towels had holes (see pictures attached). 
5. You can hear noises from other rooms, the pillows smell like mold and you cant rest well.
Overall this was a bad experience and i do not recommend staying here unless you wanna get tricked.

Warm welcome, we even got a welcome drink (I have to admit it was very tasty, not every 5* hotel will serve you one like this)
Breakfast is superb and varies every day.
Everyone is friendly and happy to help. 
The room is not big but functional and very clean. 
Quiet area as it located not on the Main Street.

Best value for this money

Visited La Digue for a few days as part of a family holiday to the Seychelles.  Stayed at Tanette's Villa and it was great for our needs.  Sleeping for three in a clean air conditioned room.  Tasty food supplied for breakfast and dinner on request.  Would recommend.

Seychelles Holiday

We stayed in Tannette ‘s Villa ,for 8 nights .The villa is on La Digue island ,in the middle of jungle .Tanette  is very nice person,helpful ,grate cooker.Only one thing spoiled our holidays ,she missed our booking ,so nobody was waiting for us .First night we spend in small room ,full of mosquitoes 😂.But next day she gave us bigger ,nicer room .The breakfast was very good ,you can also order every morning ,dinner if you wish.It’s not cheap,but delicious.Coast around 40 euro for two people.I put some picture below.Room was clean daily.They changing Towels every day .You get bikes ,coast around 50 euros for two ,for 8 days .Staff working there very friendly 🙂The island of La Digue  is beautiful ,with most gorgeous beaches I’ve seen in my life .

Lovely guesthouse with cosy rooms. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is rich and delicious.

The atmosphere is very familiar and relaxing. During check-in you get all the necessary info to explore the island and they also offer direct bike rental.

I would recommend it 100%!


Awesome stay

A wonderful accommodation with the personal touch. Tanette and staff are wonderful, warm and welcoming. With simple but comfortable accommodation our stay was delightful. Tanette also offers a great breakfast and an affordable, delicious dinner.

Home from home

We transferred here from Praslin and spent 4 days here Initially we were disappointed in the room size having had a much larger accomodation in Praslin On reflection, everything but a dressing table was provided However, it was spotlessly clean, staff were very friendly and helpful Breakfast was lovely and ample setting you up for the day It was within 10 mins walking distance to all amenities Cannot recommend enough about hiring a bicycle for the duration of your stay here It is the best way to explore the island We didn't eat here in the evening so can't comment on the meals WiFi cost us 160SCR for our 4 days Quality of WiFi was poor inside our room but mildly better on shared veranda
Dropped a star because of no dressing table and poor WiFi which isn't free

Enjoyable stay

The accomodation is good place to stay on the La Digue trip. It is situated in calm location, not far from ferry port. The guesthous offer a bike hire service. The host is friendly and helpfully.
The big advantage of this accomodation is breakfast. They gave us fruit, home juice, tea, coffe, eggs, toast, jam and yoghurt.

Good guesthouse for your stay on La Digue

First of all I would like to thank Tanette for going the extra mile serving us. She did everything to check us in earlier as we arrived at her villa around 10.45 AM. We were offered with a nice refreshing squeezed guava juice and introduced to the island by her assistant.
Be aware that her location is not that near from the ferry port, as it appears on Google maps. It is some good 25-30 min walk, it's the third alley on the left when going south on the main road from ferry. Tanette's at the end of the alley, almost in the middle of the island. Therefore, for those with kids or larger suitcases I'd advise an ox cart ride or a taxi. We had only small luggage, so were OK. The pro of that location is total peace and silence.
Once you're there, rent from her bicycles, they're in a good condition, costing only 100 Rupees a day, around 6 Euros. Bicycles are a must on La Digue, and you have no problem reaching any destination on the island.
The villa consists of two floors with, I think, 3 rooms on each. We were on the upper floor having a beautiful common terrace with seating and a refrigerator in a common vestibule.
Rooms are small, dominated with a big double bed, very small space to move, and a small wardrobe with safe to store valuables. The bathroom is small but with everything you need, with a stone floor shower cabin. The entire room is very clean - spotless.
The only thing apart a pretty small room we didn't like was charging for WiFi, I think 10 Euros a day. Cmon Tanette it's 21 cent, it's free everywhere. Those are the only reasons I give 4 stars, sorry I have to be objective.
Breakfast was great, starting again with squeezed fruit juice (not supermarket crap), coffee and fine selection of fruits, followed with toast and jam and freshly made pancakes. Tanette again made an exception for us - our ferry was leaving at 12.30 PM, so we wanted the entire morning from 7 to 11 to explore this paradise island. We asked her to have breakfast at 11 AM, she agreed immediately although regular hours are 8-10.
Place to recommend in terms of quality/price on La Digue.
