La Digue

We stayed here just for one night, a family of 6 in 2 rooms. It was perfect, very close to the Cat Cocos Ferry, just a few minutes bike ride away. The rooms were clean and well equipped, including a basic kitchen area. Breakfast was included, served by a very friendly young man, and consisted of eggs, toast, fruit, tea, coffee and  juice. It was also possible to return later in the day of departure to shower before leaving for the boat. This made our journey back much more comfortable and was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend Island Bungalow, and would love to return, thanks very much!

Perfect place to stay on La Digue

we stayed there for 4 days in two of the smaller and cheaper bungalows. our bungalows were clean, quiet, nice, but a little bit to small. they offer bigger bungalows for a higher price. even the first bugalow were we stayed didn’t have a kitchen, just a microwave and a kettle and some kitchen utensilies for two person. the second bungalow got a kitchenette with kitchenware and was better. 
breakfast simple, but o.k.. staff was very nice !!! near the beach, but at low tide hard to swim. just take care your bungalow has a kitchen if you like to get one, otherwise it is a good place to stay.

Good stay

From Mahe Island main Jetty I took a I bought my ticket to visit LA Digue one of the Best paradisiaque destination in Seychelles, arrived at Praslin then a connecting boat transfer to LA Digue total trip 1hr.

At Deck of Jetty you have to rent a bike to explore the island, this is all you need to start, it cost 100 Scr around 7 to 8 euros for whole day, following the small road leading to source d'argent a beautiful place where you can see geant tortoise life. Afterward, nearby heading to the beautiful beach where you can see huge old volcanique stones and walking between to get to a stunning beach very clean and clear water, around you can stop by small shops to taste exotic juices freshly made enjoying the view and chilling on the white sand sourounded by Coco 🌴 
After enjoying my day way back to discover the other parts of the islands many beaches and you can see different birds, and another time I stopped to have another fresh 🍹 and decided to spend a night this place, after asking the lady who made for a tasty cocktail I asked a lady about where to find accommodation, she really was helpful and recommended to me Islan Bungalow, I went there, I met nice people and they offer me a nice fully furnished room with private door, comparing with the convenient price offered I didn't expect such nice and clean room with all facilities and descent early breakfast, the waitress was so kind brought my breakfast at the small terrace exactly at the requested time.

Really I recommend this place to all my friends and shared with all travellers like me.

Nice accommodation clean and tidy

Great value for the price. Located a few steps from the beach Anse Severe, you can also go walking to Anse Patates, the rest of the beaches can be easily reached by bicycle or hiring transfers in the same establishment for 150 R $ each section, it is not cheap, but it serves. The center of town is 10 minutes walk. We were staying in the Mary-Anne Bungalow and it's fine, we were three and the floor below was enough, the kitchen is spacious and has everything you need, the refrigerator and the rest of the appliances work very well, the bedroom was very large, has a closet and the bed was very comfortable, the other beds, however, were harder and we did not like them so much.The bathroom is large and the shower worked very well.The house was very clean and smelled very good. Also Fred and his daughter were very competent and very nice to us, and the rest of the staff very well as well.The main problem is the disorder in the garden, for example the bicycles were stacked on the facade of our house in any way, the garden was clean, but that mess gave a bad impression, especially compared to how nice the villa was inside and how tidy everything was. We do share the garden with the hosts, but we believe that at least that little piece that is in front of the bungalows could be a little clear. We also miss some place to leave wet clothes when we came back from the beach. In any case, we are very satisfied with our stay at La Digue: little Ana sends greetings!

Comfortable and convenient

Villas are beautifull, well cleaned and come with all that one needs. Breakfast was simple but tasty. All in all, good value for the money.

Only two complaints:
1. if wifi is provided and advertised, it should be working. Owner told us right away that no downloading. We only used it minimally but after one day he run out of data and did not fix the problem until we left. It is not a big deal, but why advertise service you can not provide? It is 2018. If you offer wifi, it has to work.
2. owner rented us bikes. on la digue, bikes are main transportation device. However, bikes were old and not well maintained. For renting price 100 scr you get much better bike in any other bike rental on the island

Beautifull villas in the heart of La Digue

Truly one of the outstanding accommodation on La Digue.  The host and staff are attentive to important details making sure that the quarters are well kempt and tidy.  all supplies provided in an organized manner, and the food fresh and delicious.  Accommodations are close to beaches and local establishments making this a good choice for a reasonable price.

Good choice

It was absolutely amazing to stay at Island Bungalow! The bungalow was clean and tidy, we had everything we needed. Welcoming was lovely. Rooms were perfectly cleaned every day.
Breakfast was brilliant every day. Got to rent bikes for SCR100 per person a day which was great as it is the best way of getting around the island.
