Brvnara Vrdnik Shale

We stayed for one night as a family of 5 (2 adults, 2 kids and grandma). The chalet is very well designed and has everything you need, including a lovely private outdoor sitting area. It was very clean. The owner was there to greet us and show us around, the chalet is located on the bottom corner of a large block which also hosts his mum's house (completely separate residence). There are two bedrooms upstairs, each sleeping up to 3 people and each with a small balcony. The kitchen, bathroom and sitting room are downstairs. The location is a little way out of town but not so far that you can't stroll into the centre, and it is very close to the thermal baths. It is half way up quite a steep hill. At the bottom of the hill is a lovely restaurant recommended by the owner but on the night we stayed they closed the kitchen at 9pm and we missed out on dinner, and they do not open for breakfast. The only negative about chalet vrdnik is the lack of soundproofing between the top floor and bottom. It would be difficult to sleep if someone in your group wanted to stay up and watch tv or play music, and it's impossible to sneak quietly down the stairs to the toilet in the middle of the night! Otherwise I highly recommend.
