Maison Royale

We loved Belgrade, and this hotel definitely played a part in that. It is an elegant building that welcomes you with a red balloon umbrella, located on a lovely street that stretches all the way to Kalemegdan. You enter the building through the restaurants on the ground floor. Red carpets, a staircase curving upwards, and a tiny reception desk greet you inside. The staff were very polite and helpful. We settled into our room without any issues. The room was clean and had everything we could possibly need. We stayed in a room overlooking the corner of the street. The bustle below was not disturbing at all. The location is excellent—we were able to reach many places on foot, and bus stops were also very close by. My favorite thing was sitting on the window ledge and watching life rush by beneath my feet. The only thing I didn’t like was the bathroom door system. In our room, the door didn’t even have a lock mechanism, which wasn’t ideal. Still, I was extremely satisfied overall. It’s definitely a place I would love to stay again.
