We arrived at 7.30am after a long train ride, the owners kindly let us store our bags while we went and got breakfast. A few hours later we returned and were shown our room, which was small, with squeaky and unstable bunkbeds that looked as if they would collapse at any time, and to top it all off - bed bugs. We left to stay elsewhere. The owners seemed nice but the place is quite run down and more of a house-share than a hostel.

We arrived to the hostel 30 mins later than we were suposed to arrive because our train was delayed and nobody was waiting for us. We kept there waiting and two hours later a guy arrived and told us that they had given our private room to other people. Of course, we get angry, and finally he find a place to sleep in another hostel. So we didn't stay for too long in the hostel but from the three hours we spent there i can say that it was such a mess.
Fortunately we found another place (also a mess), but the thing is that if they say "0-24", they should have always someone in charge of the hostel, just to avoid these situations.

Good for this price, near 16 euro per night for a single room! Very closer to the centre, friendly stuff. i had a single room, it was clean with a TV. I liked this apartmens. I have seen the owner every day, he listened all my opinions and wishes. I can recomend it.

I can see why reviews about this place are so mixed. My partner and I had very low expectations after reading them, and perhaps this is why our experience far exceeded our expectations. The owner is very kind and allowed us to check in at 6.30am. We did not have to wait for him, but we had sent him an email the previous night informing him of our arrival. In response to this email he sent clear instructions of how to get to the hostel with photographs, and provided his mobile number in case of any difficulties.  Reception is definitely not 24 hour, however, as the owner was often not there, and we were left to check out alone. This was compensated for, however, by the fact that the owner kindly allowed us to check out at 2pm in order to line up with our bus to Sarajevo. 

Our private double room was warm, comfortable enough, and able to be locked. The little sink in the corner was convenient for freshening up and brushing teeth etc., although the room would have greatly benefited from a small rubbish bin and a mirror. It did not look as though any lockers were available in the dorm room. 

I agree with all the comments regarding cleanliness. The hostel is quite dirty in many places. However, it was nothing unmanageable - certainly not as bad for us as some reviews imply. We used a pair of thongs in the shower and were okay. 

The main point to keep in mind is that it really isn't a hostel. You are living in the owner's house in an apartment block, and it seemed to me that the place would be more appropriate on a flat-share or renting website. Not really what we expected and a little unprofessional, but the owner was kind, the Wifi good, the place quiet, and we experienced no real trouble. However, we were the only guests for most of our stay, and I can easily see how things might go very wrong with larger crowds in the high season, particularly given the owner's absences and the single shower. 

Not bad for a short stay in the off season if you can handle a little mess.

The hostel is located in the center (the only anvantage). The price is very low but conditions were quite bad. A lot of things there were broken. The stuff is not there 24/7 - you need to be luckly to meet anyone there. It is better to pay few euros more and spend better time in any hostel.
