Very nice and tidy rooms. Close to the shores of Casamance-River. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Breakfast was gorgeous, apart from the artificial (no-)orange juice.  Only cash-payment accepted (Euro or CFA) . You get the best price booking directly with the hotel. Good african food at the restaurant.

Probably the best hotel in Ziguinchore

I stayed at this hotel for one night during my trip through West Africa, together with my wife and a couple of friends.
The hotel is not big, but it has a kind of familiar environment, with the rooms placed around a common courtyard that hosts a small outdoor pool and a couple of trees. Although the rooms are not big, they are clean and comfortable, with a nice bathroom. On the outside, the hotel decoration is a breath of fresh air compared to the poor surroundings that are the city of Ziguinchor. 
Also, the hotel is properly placed near the center of the city.
The are several options at breakfast. We chose the biggest one (continental), which although not cheap, included pretty much what anyone can eat at breakfast.
It was a nice stay altogether!

Cute small hotel

After visiting some places in the North of Senegal the idea of spending a night in a 3-star hotel in Ziguinchor was not that appealing, but I had one of the most pleasant surprises - the hotel far exceeded my expectations. Most friendly and helpful staff, good value and a lot of attention. Prompt loundry, nice breakfast (considering the price, indeed) - I had a very enjoyable stay and I loved the place so, that I spent here 3 night instead of one. Important notice: of course, most people would be looking for a river-side location for the views are spectacular indeed. Yet, although Ziguinchor is a very (be Senegalese standarts) clean town, still the proximity of the river and the fish market may (and in my case did) put you at risk of having to come along with unpleasant smells. This problem does not exist in Le Flamboyent. 
The only inconvenience there is poor sound protection - if someone is having a jet lag or goes to the loo - well, without your sleeping aids you will have to enjoy night life with him

Excellent!

My wife and I are traveling in Senegal for the first time, and our French is not nearly up to par. The staff at Le Flamboyant were kind, gracious, and patient. The room was great-- the beds were really comfortable. Location was hard to beat as well-- we walked to everything. Would highly recommend. 

Wonderful!  Friendly, clean, and comfortable

Le Flamboyant is a great value, lovely full gardens surround the rooms, refreshing swimming pool.  Rooms clean and adequate.  Food selections for dinner and breakfast were very nice.  Easy walking distance to everything.  Only drawback was you couldn’t regulate temperature of air conditioning in your room.

‘Le Flamboyant’ isn’t as flamboyant as its name but what you get is warmth, courtesy and effectiveness from its staff. Nothing glamorous about it but there is a clean pool, good internet and accessibility. Value for money is great. The rooms are small & basic but they are kept clean and hotel staff spray insecticide each night against mosquitoes. 

Simple Peaceful 

Le Flamboyant is an amazing value for the price and is always my to-go place in Ziguinchor. It's a step up in value and price from Le Perroquet but is not on the water. The rooms are pleasant, large and clean, although without mosquito nets (the staff will spray insecticide in the evening unless you request that they don't). The pool is great and the garden area is lovely. There's a restaurant across the street that is relatively good and affordable for a tourist/business traveler (and it serves alcohol!). The staff are wonderful. I always look forward to returning.

Comfortable, affordable, friendly staff

The hotel is located on a quiet street, close to everything. It was around a 10-15 minute walk from the bus station. I stayed here because I wanted to get my Guinea Bissau visa at the consulate near by (only around 5 minutes walk from the hotel). 

Liked: 
1. A swimming pool to dip in when it got really hot in July. It does rain a lot in July, but the pool was awesome. 
2. The room was only 21000F for the night (excluding breakfast - additional 2800F) and it included a clean room, bed, desk, closet, bathroom, hot shower, and free wifi. 
3. The staff speaks multiple language so there will be someone that speaks English, Spanish, German, and of course, French. 
4. They spray mosquito repellent in the room between 7 and 8pm. I had no problems with mosquitos. 

Disliked:
1. The wifi went on an off. When it rained, the Wifi did not work at all. It rained a lot when I was there...

Others:
1. They have a restaurant across the street. I did not eat there. Instead, I ate at the restaurants near by. 
2. You can exchange money at the hotel. They have rates that were better than the street changers. 655F for 1 Euro when I was there.

Central, swimming pool, clean, quiet, free wifi, great price

The Hotel staff is fantastic! we were welcomed with a nice drink and most importantly large smiles and welcoming people. The pool was very welcome after a hot day in Ziguinchor! The rooms are perfectly equipped with AC, clean, functioning shower. We had an excellent night! Thank you!
